Having early embraced the digital age, he retired as Director of Information Technology for the American Lung Association of Virginia, for which he worked for several decades. Later, he served as IT Liaison for the Commonwealth's Division of Capitol Police, and provided pro-bono consulting to a number of smaller non-profits whose missions he supported. Widely respected and much loved, he was unfailingly cheerful and his enthusiasms were many. He enjoyed baroque music, books and cats. Political philosophy, Virginia architecture and historic preservation were abiding interests. Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Anner M. Whitehead; his mother, Myrtle C. Hall; his son, Terence G. Hall; and numerous family, friends and colleagues who will mourn him keenly and long. on December 8, 2014.²
