     William Tazewell Gray was buried at Gray Family Cemetery, private property located off Sandbranch Road, outside of Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.8 He was born on March 9, 1855 at Floyd Co., Virginia.3 He married Mary Belle Breeding on July 24, 1878 at Raleigh Co., West Virginia.2,4 William Tazewell Gray and Mary Belle Breeding were divorced before July, 1895.9 William Tazewell Gray married Laura Alice Edmonds on July 18, 1895 at Raleigh Co., West Virginia.3,10,4 William Tazewell Gray died on December 29, 1933 at Slab Fork, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 78.3,8 He William T. Gray, 78, died at his home at Slab Fork at 10:20 Friday night following an illness of approximately 1 year. His death was attributed to Brights disease. The deceased man was a member of the Missionary Baptist church, and was well known and respected in the Slab Fork section. Gray had lived in this county for many years, coming here with his family from his birthplace in Virginia. He is survived by his second wife, Mrs. Laura Alice Gray, and the following children; Lacy Gray, Joe Gray, and Sherman Gray, all of Slab Fork; Amos Gray, Cirlsville; Dorsey Gray, Price Hill; Otho Gray, Daniels; Mrs. Grady Hendricks, Edwight; Mrs. James Moore, Camp Creek; Miss Bertha Gray, Slab Fork; Mrs. Lee Young, Kegley; Mrs. Rufus Ellison, and Mrs. Judy McAlister, Hinton. Two sisters are also living, Mrs. Cass Lester, of Lester; and Mrs. Gordon Lesler, Ellet, Virginia. The body was removed to his home at Slab Fork this morning, where it will remain until 10:00 when it will be taken to the home of Hugh Edmonds, on Sand Branch where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 by Rev. Paul Smith, of Beckley. Burial will be made in the family cemetery there by the Calfee undertakers. on December 31, 1933.8

Surviving are sons, Paul Reynolds of Charleston and John Reynolds of San Diego, Calif; half-brothers, Carl Bonham of Charleston; half-sister, Beulah Cooley of Charleston; grandchildren, Kristie Buell, Dan Reynolds, Jaye Prater and Mark Reynolds; six great grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston with the Rev. Fairley McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
