     Susan Elaine Epperly Susan Epperly Conner, Oct 13, 1952 - Apr 17, 2020. Susan Epperly Conner, 67, of Vinton, celebrated her first day in Heaven with her beloved husband of 41 years, Elvin W. “E.W.” Conner Jr; also preceding her in death are her parents Thurman M. and Rachael A. Epperly; and her sister Deana Stoner. Susan loved spending time outdoors, watching birds, planting and tending the flower beds; helping E.W. with the vegetable garden and the lawn. She also helped E.W put the finishing touches on apartments he was maintenance director for. She loved her family and is survived by her daughters, Krista Conner (Jen Navarra), Angie Cooper (Scott); grandchildren Tyler Nance (Anna Clements), Amber Nance, Afton Cooper, Katherine Cooper; niece, Shannon Carranza, nephew Randy Conner II (Kristin), and their families; and numerous other family members and friends. She also loved her kitty cats and her dog Blanca “Bonkie Boo”.³ She was born on October 13, 1952 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2,3 She married Elvin Walter Conner Jr., son of Elvin Walter Conner Sr. and Reda Elizabeth "Granny" Alderman, on June 3, 1978 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,4,3 As of June 3, 1978,her married name was Conner.¹ Susan Elaine Epperly died on April 17, 2020 at Virginia at age 67.³

She was born on July 13, 1923 in Virginia Beach to the late Leonard S. and M. Booker Flanagan. She was a member of ECHOS choir with London Bridge Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory are her children: E.H. "Sonny" Conner, his wife Patricia and their children Jere, Eric, David, and Josh. Janet Crow, her husband Bob and their children Sarah and Daniel. Nancy Hill, her husband Gurney and their daughter Rebecca. The late Eddy Conner's surviving wife Sharon and their children Elizabeth, Matthew, Anna and Jesse. Leonard Conner, his wife Ginger and their children Katrina, Samuel and Benjamin. Jill Harris, her husband Jim and their children Amanda, Katie and James. Walter Conner, his wife Maria and their children Renee, Amy and Matthew; As well as 17 great-grandchildren. Katherine is preceded in death by her parents; four older siblings; her son Eddy Conner and grandson Christopher Crow. Burial will conclude services at Nimmo United Methodist Cemetery. on November 3, 2012.⁴

     Janet Katherine Conner was buried at London Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery, 2460 Potters Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia.^9,3 She was born on June 23, 1947 at Norfolk, Virginia.^9,1,2,3 As of October 20, 1978,her married name was Crow.² She married Robert Jackson Crow Jr. on October 20, 1978 at Virginia Beach, Virginia.^4,8,2,3 Janet Katherine Conner died on June 6, 2015 at Virginia Beach, Virginia, at age 67.^9,3 She Virginia Beach - Janet Katherine Crow, 67, passed away on June 6, 2015. She was born on June 23, 1947 to the late Everette & Katherine Conner. She was preceded in death by her son, Chris Crow and brother, Eddy Conner. Janet retired after 39 years of Nursing at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Robert Crow, Jr; son, Daniel (Stephanie) Crow; daughter, Sarah Crow; grandchildren, Chris and Alex Crow; sisters, Jill (Jim) Harris and Nancy (Gurney) Hill; brothers, Sonny (Patty) Conner, Leonard Conner, and Walter (Maria) Conner ; sister-in-laws, Pat Crow, Sharon Conner, and Ginger Conner; and multiple nieces and nephews.      Christopher Michael Crow was buried at Nimmo Methodist Church Cemetery, 2200 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia.^2,1 He was born on March 12, 1980.² He died on July 6, 2002 at Virginia Beach, Virginia, at age 22.^1,2 He Christopher Michael "Chris" Crow, 22, died July 6, 2002, in Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Virginia Beach. He worked for Gurney Hill Concrete Co. and was a member of London Bridge Baptist Church. He was a 1998 graduate of Atlantic Shores Christian School. Chris was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Everett H. Conner Sr; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Crow; and his uncle, Eddie Conner. He is survived by his parents, Janet and Bob Crow; sister and brother, Sarah Crow and Daniel Crow; his maternal grandmother, Katherine Conner, all of Virginia Beach; aunts and uncles, Nancy and Gurney Hill, Patricia Crow, Sonny and Patty Conner, Sharon Conner, Leonard and Ginger Conner, Jill and Jim Harris Jr., and Walter and Maria Conner; and numerous cousins and friends. Interment will follow in Nimmo United Methodist Church Cemetery. on July 11, 2002.¹

He was born July 14, 1949, in Virginia Beach, son of Katherine Conner and the late Everett Conner. The owner of Conner Services for more than 20 years, he was an avid gardener and loved to play golf with his brothers. Eddy was a wonderful father, husband and grandfather and a friend to the community. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Kay Conner; a son, Matthew Eddy Conner; three daughters, Elizabeth A. Cochran, Anna Marie Conner and Jessie Liane Conner, all of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Janet Crow, Nancy Hill and Jill Harris; three brothers, E.H. "Sonny" Conner Jr., Leonard S. Conner and M. Walter Conner, all of Virginia Beach; and two grandchildren, Thomas Conner and Seth Cochran. Interment will be in Charity United Methodist Church Cemetery, Virginia Beach. on December 8, 1998.¹
