After WWII she married and moved with her husband to St. Paul where they raised two children. She was a tireless and extremely efficient worker in all the tasks she undertook and ran her household in the same organized manner. Her Southern charm combined with her kind and generous nature made her an understanding and sympathetic listener. People and animals were drawn to her. Lillian was a quick study and a master at checkers, card games, puzzles and word games. She loved to travel and prided herself in visiting all 50 states, Canada, and Europe. Lillian is preceded in death by her husband Robert, her son Robert, 7 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her daughter Caroline, her daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren Kevin, Melinda and Scott, four great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. Many thanks to Allina Hospice Care which provided loving care, and most importantly, the ability to live the last year of her life with her daughter. on August 30, 2015.⁴
