     Raymond Clinton Hutchinson Raymond Clinton Hutchison, 71 of New Castle, Virginia went home to rest in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on November 3, 2023. He was born August 26, 1952, to Claudine Hutchison and the late Lloyd Palton Hutchison of New Castle, Virginia. On April 14, 1973, he married the love of his life, Alice “Tiny” Hutchison. Raymond was an active member of the community and spent many years as a maintenance technician for Roanoke Redevelopment and Housing Authority. Before he became disabled, Raymond was an avid hunter and fisherman. His true passion was raising and showing black and tan coon hounds. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family. Raymond was most proud of being a grandparent. He loved it when his grandchildren would come to visit him, and he would sit and talk for hours to everyone about his grandkids. He is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Palton Hutchison; brother, Delbert “John” Hutchison; brother-in-laws, Gayther Cantrell and Eugene Kessinger; nephews, Lynn Cantrell and Dewayne Hutchison; and mother and father-in-law, the late Bille Burke and Miriam June Porterfield of Waiteville, West Virginia. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 50 years, Alice “Tiny” Hutchison; mother, Claudine Hutchison; sisters, Donna Cantrell and Sharon Kessinger; children, Jolie McKinney & husband Thomas, Jeremy Hutchison & fiancée’ Candy Rucker, Shannon Little & husband Daniel; grandchildren, Kayla Dudley, Dylan Hart, Kirsten Hutchison, Isaiah & Nathaniel McKinney, and Tristan Little; and great-grandson, Jordan Deisher; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.⁵ He was born on August 26, 1952 at Roanoke, Virginia.^3,4,5 He married Alice Renee Porterfield on April 14, 1973 at New Castle, Craig Co., Virginia.³ Raymond Clinton Hutchinson died on November 3, 2023 at Virginia at age 71.⁵

     Delbert Palton "John" Hutchinson “John” Delbert Palton Hutchison, 67, of New Castle, VA passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023. He was born on April 24, 1956, to Claudine Hutchison and the late Lloyd Hutchison. John was loved by so many! He was an avid junk collector. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Dewayne Hutchison. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Joe Hutchison, and Steven Hutchison; grandchildren, Madalynn Hutchison, Tashawna Bullard, Douglas Hutchison; great-granddaughter, Faith Bullard; siblings, Raymond Hutchison, Sharon Kessinger, and Donna Cantrell; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.⁵ He was born on April 24, 1956 at Roanoke, Virginia.^4,5 He married Judith Ann Brown on April 25, 1975 at Lebanon, Russell Co., Virginia.³ Delbert Palton "John" Hutchinson and Judith Ann Brown were divorced on May 28, 1976.³ Delbert Palton "John" Hutchinson married Sandra Marie Bryant on August 31, 1985 at Craig Co., Virginia.³ Delbert Palton "John" Hutchinson died on June 23, 2023 at Virginia at age 67.⁵

     His Social Security Number was 234-70-2774.⁶ Eugene Lenair Kessinger was buried at Crossroads Church Cemetery, at intersection of Rt. 615 and Rt. 611, Craig Co., Virginia.⁴ He was born on April 13, 1944 at West Virginia.^3,6 He married Sharon Rowena Hutchinson, daughter of Lloyd Palton Hutchinson and Claudine Paitsel, on June 10, 1972 at New Castle, Craig Co., Virginia.^1,2,3,7 Eugene Lenair Kessinger died on July 21, 2012 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 68.^4,6,5 He Eugene Lenair Kessinger 68, of New Castle, went to join his Lord and Savior on July 21, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Wesley and Odessa Kessinger. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Kessinger; children, Maggie, Lauren, and Westly Kessinger, all of New Castle; brothers, Gary Kessinger, of Waiteville, W. Va., Garland (Sue) Kessinger, of Lewisburg, W. Va., Lionell (Lou) Kessinger, of Roanoke; sister Joyce (Don) Henrick, of Elkston, W.Va; many nieces and nephews; and grandchildren of the heart Breonna, Mitchell, Madison, Makayla, Emily, Doug, Tashawna, Elle, Robert, Dalton, Dakota, Stephanie, Jaci, and Abby. A graveside service will be held at Crossroads Church Cemetery. on July 23, 2012.⁴

     Gayther Lynn Cantrell was born on August 22, 1953 at Buchanan Co., Virginia.⁴ He married Donna Darlene Hutchinson, daughter of Lloyd Palton Hutchinson and Claudine Paitsel, on February 9, 1970 at New Castle, Craig Co., Virginia.^1,2,3,5 Gayther Lynn Cantrell died on August 8, 2022 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 68.⁶

     Gayther Lynn Cantrell Jr. was born on July 2, 1970 at Roanoke, Virginia.² He died on March 18, 2023 at Virginia at age 52.³

     Jonathan Dewayne "John" Hutchinson One person is dead after a traffic altercation between two vehicles in Roanoke County Tuesday afternoon. Roanoke County Police say the incident happened around 3:15 p.m. on Newport Rd. just off Catawba Valley Dr. When emergency crews arrived on scene, police say they found Jonathan Dewayne Hutchinson, 40, of New Castle unresponsive. Police say while emergency personnel were giving Hutchinson medical assistance, they found that he had been shot. Hutchinson was transported to Carilion RMH where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the preliminary investigation indicates that Hutchinson was chasing another vehicle that was driving into Roanoke County from Craig County, on Catawba Valley Dr. Police say Hutchinson turned right onto Newport Rd. while following the other vehicle, but crashed. Police say he then exited his vehicle and began another altercation with the occupants of the first vehicle when he was shot. No one else was injured, according to police. They say investigators have spoken to all parties involved but no arrests have been made at this time. The incident remains under investigation.³ He Jonathan Dewayne Hutchison "Hutch", 39 of New Castle, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017. He was preceded in death by grandfather Lloyd Hutchison; grandmother Juanita Clark; grandfather Howard Clark. He is survived by daughter Tashawna Bullard; son Douglas Hutchison; parents John Hutchison and Wilma Lilze; brothers Joe Hutchison and Steven Hutchison; sister Tracy Cash; brother Donny Cash; numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.² He was born circa 1978.² He died on May 9, 2017 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^2,3
