     Roger K. Neely Roger K. "Old Man" Neely, 68, of Hilltop Drive in Princeton, died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Va. with his family by his side. Born December 25, 1944 in Mercer County, he was the son of Helen Marie Thompson Neely of Adair's Run, Kellysville and the late Kenton Neely. He was a 1962 graduate of Oakvale High School and had been a resident of this area most of his life. Roger was an expert bulldozer operator as well as other heavy equipment for over fifty years while his health permitted. He loved the outdoors, especially going to the mountain at Pigeon Creek with his friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Ann Perdue in June 2011. Additional survivors include his wife of forty-nine years, Ginger Lee Neely of Princeton; his loving children, Chatman Neely and companion Dr. Harry Sanford of Wellsburg, W.Va., Tammy Weatherly of Oakvale, and Amanda Slade and husband Will of Princeton; three grandsons, Parley Weatherly and his daughter Whitleigh, Travis Weatherly and fiancée Christy Whitt, and Chris Weatherly all of Oakvale; one sister, Peggy Sue Graham and husband Stephen of Oceana, W.Va; and numerous friends and former co-workers. Burial will follow at the Neely Family Cemetery, Adair's Run, Kellysville.3 He was buried at Neely Cemetery, Adair’s Run, Mercer Co., West Virginia.3 He married Ginger Lee Unknown.2,3 Roger K.
