     Joseph Virgil English Joseph Virgil English (AKA. JV, Joe) went to his Heavenly home Monday, December 9, 2019. Joe was born March 5, 1930, in El Paso, Texas, to Joseph William (JW) English and Hilah Gray English. He was raised in El Paso and attended Stephen F. Austin High School and Texas Western College, now UTEP. Joe studied there before entering the Air Force in 1950. He was a salesman all his life selling meat for Armour and Peyton Packing Company. Those waiting for Joe in Heaven were his father, JW English; mother, Hilah English; 1st wife, Barbara English; sister, Margaret Bush; and son, John William English. Joe is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann English at the family home; daughter, Rebecca and John Trujillo of Roswell, NM, Jim and Linda English of Glenwood Springs, CO, Teresa and Tony Pierce of Fountain Hills, AZ, Steve and Darla Shannon of Roswell, NM; grandchildren: Joshua William English of Denver, CO, Melissa Bergstrom of Albuquerque, NM, Eryn Frosch of Albuquerque, NM, Paul Huttenhower and Amanda Holley of Denver, CO, Luke Huttenhower and Grace Eshelman of Glenwood Springs, CO, Drew and Cathy Pierce of Phoenix, AZ, Shiloh and David Rhodes of Gilbert, AZ, Michael and Brittany Shannon of Roswell, NM, Kira Shannon of Roswell, NM; ten great-grandchildren; brother, John T. and Carol English of Mesquite, TX; and numerous friends. Joe and his family are members of Grace Community Church. The family would like to thank Encompass Hospice, nurses and aids, as well as his wonderful personal caregivers: Penny Wood, Chris Hicks Jr., and Aurora Mayes.4 He was born on March 5, 1930 at El Paso, El Paso Co., Texas.3,1,4 He married Barbara Jean Pollard, daughter of Lloyd C.      Martha Rebecca Hunt Martha R. Fisher, 92, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at home. She was born on January 13, 1921 to Charles and Clara (Curry) Hunt in Hancock County, Indiana. She was retired from General Motors in Anderson. Martha is survived by daughters, Donna (Stephen) Forstner and Mary Matney; six grandchildren, LaDonna Dowie, Patricia Bargo, Carl York, Stephen & Christopher Forstner and Rachelle Byrd; and two great- grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Donald Fisher; and son, Billy Lee Akers.      Billy Lee Akers married Mary Unknown.5,3 Billy Lee Akers was born on August 10, 1944 at Anderson, Madison Co., Indiana.2 He died on May 30, 1970 at At sea, off Bermuda, at age 25.5 He Navy officials reported there is no hope left for finding an Anderson man and his family who have been missing at sea since last weekend. Billy C. Akers, son of Raymond E. Akers, Donnelly Rd., and Martha Fisher of Noblesville, along with his wife, son and another man were last seen Saturday when they borrowed a blue rowboat for inshore fishing off the coast of Bermuda. Their absence was reported Sunday night. The Navy abandoned an air and sea search for Akers, 22, his wife Mary their six-month-old son David and Lance Cpl. Earl Steven, 22, of Baltimore, Md., Tuesday. William Simonds, owner of the borrowed rowboat, said an empty boat found at sea Wednesday night was not the one he had loaned the Akers. Navy officials Thursday began removing possessions left behind by the Akers family at the air station annex in Bermuda, where Navy Yeoman Second Class Akers was stationed. Akers had lived in the Anderson area all his life. on June 5, 1970.5 He A private memorial service was held at the Naval Reserve on East Oak St. for Billy Lee Akers, yeoman second class and family on Navy Chaplain DeLong was in charge of the service. Billy Lee was the son of Raymond of Anderson and Martha Fisher of Noblesville. Billy, his wife, Mary and son David James were lost at sea on a fishing trip off the shore of Bermuda on May 30, 1970. on August 13, 1970.3
