     Michael Wade Reid was buried at Eagle Rock Baptist Church Cemetery, State Road 734, Eagle Rock, Botetourt Co., Virginia.4 He was born on October 18, 1958 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,2,3 He married Penny Lynn Bryant, daughter of James Andrew Bryant and Joyce Marie Deisher, on June 26, 1982 at Botetourt Co., Virginia.1 Michael Wade Reid and Penny Lynn Bryant were divorced on August 12, 1986 at Botetourt Co., Virginia.2 Michael Wade Reid died on January 21, 2015 at Virginia at age 56.4 He Michael Wade Reid, 56, of Roanoke, and formerly of Eagle Rock, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Caroll Wade "Fatty" Reid and Margaret Dooley Reid in 2010. He graduated from James River High School in 1977.He was presently employed at the Western Virginia Regional Jail. His life revolved around helping others as a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician. He served with Eagle Rock Fire and Rescue, Blue Ridge Fire and Rescue, Read Mountain Fire and Rescue, Mason Cove Fire and Rescue, and Fincastle Fire and Rescue. He also was a State Fire Instructor and a member of the Roanoke' Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Lynn Clemmer Reid; son, Chris Reid of Salem; daughter-in-law, Athena Reid of Salem; grandchildren, Zayne and Maryssa Reid; aunt, Ama Reid of Salem; aunt, Regina Womack of Halifax; cousins, Dianne Roberts of Troutville, and Penny Reid Dooley of Smith Mountain Lake; his in-laws, Kathy and Kim Law of High Point, N.C., Brian and Joann Clemmer of Roanoke, Lisa Clemmer and Leslie Clemmer of Fincastle; nieces, Ashley Yarborough and husband, Ken, of Spanaway, Wash., and Alexandra Clemmer of Martinsville; nephews, Maxwell Law of Oxford, Miss., and Andrew Clemmer of Roanoke. Inurnment will follow in Eagle Rock Baptist Church Cemetery with Full Fire Department Honors rendered by his fellow Firefighters and EMS colleagues. on January 24, 2015.4

Laurie was born May 8, 1953, in Baytown. She graduated from L.D. Bell High School in Hurst in 1971. She was married to the love of her life, Phillip Arnn, for 42 years. Laurie was the office manager at Watchman Fellowship Ministry for over 20 years. She was a one-in-a-million individual, always concerned for others, friend, surrogate mom and counselor to many.
