     John Lawrence Lubbers was buried at Magnolia Cemetery, 70 Cunnington Avenue, Charleston, Charleston Co., South Carolina.3 He John Lawrence Lubbers (Jack) died on Monday, April 24, 2017. Jack was born to Bill and Doris Lubbers on April 18, 1941 in Washington, DC. Jack was raised in Chatham, New Jersey. He graduated from Chatham schools in the class of 1959. He then earned a degree in Business from Nichols College in Dudley, MA. After college, Jack worked for Asplundh Tree Experts. He enlisted and was proud to serve in the Marine Corp Reserves where he received numerous marksmanship awards. Next, he worked for ESSO as an oil heat salesman. In the 1960s, Jack worked for Smith & Wesson as a law enforcement distributor. He later became sales manager for Smith & Wesson Electronics. Jack then moved to Toms River, New Jersey and met his dear wife and best friend, Theresa. They married in 1974. Jack worked as a manufacturing representative in law enforcement and the sporting goods market until 1986 and received many recommendations of achievement in those areas. He then became a manufacturer of specialty advertising products to the sporting goods and law enforcement industries. Jack and Theresa moved to Charleston in 1995. Jack retired in 2014. Jack was an avid reader. He often laughed about reading history books that were so thick he could hardly hold them. Jack was a long- time member of First (Scots) Presbyterian Church and of the Harbour Club. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Theresa. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Chris Findlay, and nephew, James Findlay, and three cousins, Ed, Larry, and Glen Lubbers. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Dorothy Aungst. He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Doris Lubbers, and two sets of wonderful grandparents. Theresa would like to thank Dr. Lingerfelt and his staff for their care, caregivers of Caris Hospice and the many friends and neighbors who stepped forward to help in so many ways.2 He was born on April 18, 1941 at Washington, D.C..2,3 He married Patricia Janet Conner, daughter of Clifford Sidney Conner and Mildred John Niedbalski, in August, 1965 at Madison, Morris Co., New Jersey.1 John Lawrence Lubbers died on April 24, 2017 at Charleston, Charleston Co., South Carolina, at age 76.2,3

     Anna Louise King was buried at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.3 Her Social Security Number was 233-30-9593.4 Her married name was Conner.5 She married Posey Curtis Conner, son of Sidney Rufus Conner and Arminta Lee "Pet" Akers.5 Anna Louise King was born on April 11, 1904 at Saltville, Smyth Co., Virginia.2,4 She died on December 9, 1975 at West Virginia at age 71.4,3 She Mrs. Anna L. Conner of 107 Coal St. died Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. in a local hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Navy Mothers Club and the auxiliaries of the Gideons and American Legion. She was a daughter of the late Oscar and Etta Parsons King. Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte (Mrs. Ronnie Gene) Williams, and a son, Maurice A. Abies, both of Beckley, and two sisters, Mrs. William W. Dews of Beckley and Mrs. D.L. Keadle of Crab Orchard. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. on December 11, 1975.3

     Posey Conner Jr. died in 1937 at Raleigh Co., West Virginia.1 He Mr. and Mrs. Gene McClure entertained at noon yesterday with a dinner arranged to honor Posey Conner, jr., and in memory of his mother, Mrs. Nettie Ray Conner, whose death occurred during the winter months. The table was centered with a bowl of pink and white carnations and covers were placed for Mr. and Mrs. Calloway, of Lester, Mr. and Mrs. George Roberts, of Whitesville, Mrs. Elizabeth Simms, Miss Marie Alley, P. C. Conner, Posey Conner, jr., and Mr. and Mrs. McClure. After dinner a huge basket of flowers was placed on Mrs. Conner’s grave. on May 10, 1937.1

Dean was an avid outdoors man with a special love of hunting, fishing and spending quality time with his dog Stubby. Surviving are his sons, Mitchell D. (Amanda) Worrell II and Lorenzo Hurley; daughter, Tandeia Pannell; grandchildren, Mya Dunbar, Davion and Cameron Hurley, Abigail Worrell, Ronnie Pannell, Jr., Kayloni Dunbar, and Autumn Leftwich; brother, Daniel (Katherine) Worrell; sisters, Donna (Dean) Harbaugh and Mary (Stacy) Underwood.1 He was born on February 9, 1961 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,2 He died on February 17, 2021 at Virginia at age 60.1
