Kyle Adam Mills Kyle "Adam" Mills' soul was set free on Wednesday January 25, 2023 at 22 years old. He was born in Christiansburg, VA on June 2, 2000. He was known for his care free spirit. He could never commit to anything lol!! He was happy jumping from place to place and never worrying about the future. He was always full of jokes, high energy and a contagious smile. He wore his heart on his sleeve, loved deeply and forgave easily. Music was his passion. Adam is finally reunited in Heaven with his mother, Turena McGhee and survived by Robert Mills Jr. Adam is also survived by his siblings: guardian/sister Alicia Kipps; Angel Elliott and her husband Aaron Elliott; Carl McGhee, the eldest; and Oriann Tatum;
and girlfriend Karen Ayers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; and many cousins. Kyle Adam Mills, 22, died from injuries he sustained in the incident, which occurred in the 400 block of Johns Creek Road, Virginia State Police said. Craig County Sheriff’s Office deputies and state troopers responded to reports of a domestic disturbance at the residence, a state police news release said Thursday. Once deputies and troopers arrived at the home, a ?rearm was discharged inside the residence, state police said. They stayed outside and attempted to contact the occupant, Mills. “Information was obtained that the subject inside the residence was armed, and officers requested negotiators to speak with the subject and a tactical team,” state police said. Shortly before 9 p.m., Mills came out onto the front porch. Officers ?red their weapons, striking him. State police said Mills was armed when he was shot. Emergency medical care was administered immediately and was continued until paramedics arrived, police said, but Mills died from his injuries. State police said no of?cers were injured in the incident, but all involved officers, both troopers and Craig County deputies, have been placed on administrative leave according to both departments’ policies. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the state police’s division headquarters in Salem is conducting an investigation of the shooting. “At the completion of the investigation, all the ?ndings will be turned over to the Craig County Commonwealth’s Attorney for adjudication,” state police said. on January 27, 2023.4

Rachel was preceded in death by her grandma, Mildred R. Parsons Butner. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Belcher; mother, Sharon R. Butner Overton; stepfather, Donald G. Overton; brothers, Garrett J. Overton and companion Harley Cox, Caleb T. Overton and wife Monica; sister, Melinda Perry; niece and nephews, Sophia Perry, Ezekiel J. Overton, Sean H. Overton; aunts, Robyn Robinson, and Jada Robinson, Susan Kovach; cousins, Chris, Annie, Alex, and Sierra; as well as numerous friends, colleagues, and patients. Mostly anyone who met Rachel loved her. Rachel was an administrative assistant with Complete Home Care. She held a CNA license and a working EMT. She had a license for Med Tech and was also working through college getting her psychology degree. She enjoyed working in the mental health field. She loved all genres of music and anything related to Nightmare Before Christmas. She loved people in general and wanted to help everyone in need. She was generous, loving, and kind. She had a big heart to love. Rachel loved her animals - her frogs, snakes (Sargent Snake Face), lizards, and dogs (Kratos).3 She was born on December 29, 1988 at Roanoke Rapids, Halifax Co., North Carolina.2,3 As of April 28, 2010,her married name was Belcher.1 She married Timothy Lee Belcher, son of Howard Dalton Belcher Jr. and Cora Faye McGhee, on April 28, 2010 at Bedford Co., Virginia.1,3 Rachel Carolina Butner died on November 4, 2022 at Virginia at age 33.3

Reva Mae King was buried at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 5070 Cove Road N. W., Roanoke, Virginia.3 She Reva Mae King Fagg 92 of Salem VA went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday June 20, 2023. She was born in Montgomery County. Reva played basketball for Shawsville High School, admitting "she wasn't very good but somebody had to warm the bench". Even in her last days she kept her children laughing with some of her witty comebacks during their visits. Reva worked in a canning factory, a sewing mill; she babysat many children and retired from Richfield dietary. Reva loved to knit and crochet. She was an excellent cook and baker. Reva loved talking about the Lord, her precious mother and all of her sweet grandchildren one of which she shared the same birth date. Her great grandchildren ranging in ages of 9 months to 17 years kept a smile on her face even if it was just looking at their pictures. In one of Reva's bibles given to her by her son Greg, there are many passages highlighted by an asterisk or underlined reminding her of how we should be walking with and praising the Lord. In her last days her family saw how those reminders we being brought out in her words, prayers and praises. Reva is preceded in death by her husband Harold, parents Thomas Dow and Bertha Wirt King, brothers, Versey, Sherman, Harry King, and sister Charlotte King. Left to cherish the memories are her daughter Charlene Walton (Mike), sons Wendell Fagg (Peggy), Mason Fagg (Linda), Greg Fagg (Julin). Grandchildren Holly Davis, Stephen Smith, Josh Walton, Mathew Walton, Erin Carroll, Derek Fagg, Tyler Fagg, Lillyan Fagg, Autumn Fagg. Great grandchildren, Taylor and Ashlyn Davis, Knox and Brooks Walton, Julia and Mason Carroll, Addie and Elliott Fagg, Elyse and Ryah Fagg. Brother Henry King and wife Pat. Many nieces, nephews and family friends. Over the last eight years Reva's family has grown to appreciate so many of the residents and employees of Richfield Living Salem.
