     James Donald Pugh was buried at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 5070 Cove Road N. W., Roanoke, Virginia.^4,2 He James Donald Pugh, 80, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014. He was retired from the United States Army Reserves after 37 years of service and later retired from the Virginia Department of Highway after 32 years of service. He was a faithful member of Connelly Memorial Baptist Church. Special thanks from Don and his family to the Virginia Veterans Care Center for their loving care over the last three years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Pugh; parents, James and Lucille Pugh; and a brother, Robert C. Pugh. He leaves behind many loving family members and faithful friends.      Lowell Douglas Kiser was buried at Saint James Lutheran Church Cemetery, 3205 Saint James Road, Saint James, Greene Co., Tennessee.⁴ He was born on March 29, 1938 at Greene Co., Tennessee.^4,5 He married Linda Louise Janney, daughter of Allen William Janney and Emma Ruth Coates, on July 2, 1961 at Buncombe Co., North Carolina.³ Lowell Douglas Kiser died on May 27, 2018 at Greene Co., Tennessee, at age 80.^4,5 He Lowell Douglas Kiser passed away Sunday at his home with his family. He is survived by his wife: Linda; his son: Allen D. Kiser and wife, Kathy; his daughter: Vicky Kiser Hurt; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his loving sister, brother-in-law and great friend: Lowell and Gladalea Collins. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jim and Vivian Kiser; and a brother and sister-in-law: John and Beth Kiser. Lowell was born and raised in Greene County and was thankful for many friendships during the years. Interment of his ashes in St. James Cemetery. on May 28, 2018.⁵

He is survived by his wife, Levaunne Ruth Starnes; sons, Ricky Starnes, Jimmy Wayne Starnes and Carl Scarberry, Jr; daughters, Lisa Starnes Morgan, Michelle Starnes and Amanda Scarberry; grandchildren, Haley Scarberry, Cody Scarberry, Spencer Morgan, Austin "Jimmy" Scarberry, Jacob Walker, Brody Starnes and Alyson Rowitz; brother, Johnny Starnes; sisters, Ruby Harris and Bertha Jane Faulkenbury. on October 31, 2006.¹
