He is survived by his wife Rosemary Jones Conner of Woodlawn, Virginia; daughter Tammy Jones of Blacksburg, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Sidney Allen Conner, Jr. and Beth of Woodlawn, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Patsy and Steve Rogers of Pennsylvania; Ivalene and John Waldren of Peterstown West Virginia; Donna Walker of Durham, North Carolina; brother James “Buddy” Conner of Rich Creek, Virginia; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; his beloved dog Buffy.² He was born on December 9, 1947 at Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.^1,2,3 He married Rosemary Jones, daughter of Clarence Cleveland Jones and Maybelle Stewart, on July 3, 1967 at Rich Creek, Giles Co., Virginia.^1,2 Sidney Allen Conner died on August 8, 2022 at Woodlawn, Carroll Co., Virginia, at age 74.²

     Mary Kathleen Huffman Mary Kathleen Huffman Stump, 70, a former school cafeteria manager in Virginia, died Monday at Lancaster General Hospital after a long illness. She resided at 200 Marticville Road and was the wife of the late Erwin Masters Stump. Mrs. Stump moved to Lancaster in 1985 from Chesapeake, Va., where she was a cafeteria manager for 15 years with the Chesapeake Schools Food Service. She retired in 1982. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Chesapeake. Born in New Castle, Va., she was the daughter of the late Yarnell and Mary McDonald Huffman. She is survived by two daughters, Theresa Leevonne and Vivian S., wife of Robert W. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jean. on June 27, 2011.²
