     Mary Elizabeth Bruetsch Mary E. Wilshire (nee Bruetsch), age 70, passed away Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Robert R. Wilshire; loving mother of Robert R. Wilshire Jr. (Sue), William Wilshire (Kathryn), Vicky Freeman-Marko (Thomas) and Laurie Carlyle (Robert) of OK; dearest grandmother of 12; and great-grandmother of seven; and dear sister of George Bruetsch and Louise Heiss. Interment Brooklyn Hts. Dunlap of Weston, formerly of Lewisburg, died at birth Saturday in Greenbrier Valley Hospital. Also surviving are a sister, Mary Von; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith A. Dunlap Lewisburg; the maternal grandmother, Mrs. C. L. Wilshire of Oak Hill; the paternal great-grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. R. H. Dunn of Lewisburg and a paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Dunlap of South Charleston. Graveside service will be in Rosewood Cemetery at Lewisburg. on August 21, 1960.¹

He was born Feb. 19, 1943, in Wheatcroft, Ky., to Sherman and Wanda Almon Hayes. He owned and operated C&C Plumbing. Hayes He was preceded in death by his father; and one sister, Margaret Hayes. He is survived by his mother of Mortons Gap; his wife, Mary Ann Dunlap of Mortons Gap: one son, Sherman F. Hayes of St. John, Ind; two stepsons, Ray Dunlap and Keith Dunlap, both of Earlington, Ky; one stepdaughter, Mary Von Hughes of Earlington; one brother, Darrell Hayes of Manitou, Ky; six sisters, Glenda Skaggs and Mary Watts, both of Manitou, Hilda Rudd and Barbara Offutt, both of Mortons Gap, Alice Carr of Virginia and Donna Malcomson of Campbellsville, Ky; six step-grandchildren; one great-step-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Old Suthards Cemetery near Earlington. on October 15, 2005.²
