Born September 25, 1944, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Leslie "Les" Wyatt Blair and Gladys Cocke Blair. She is survived by two sons, Brad Pickerel, and wife, Kim of Gainesville, GA, and Barry Pickerel and wife, Julie of Ball Ground, GA; one brother, Greg Blair, and wife, Lyne of Rustburg; three grandchildren, Madison Lee Daugherty, Madison Ilene Pickerel, and Jainey Barrett Pickerel; two great-grandchildren, Lucas Evans, and Theodore Evans; one niece, Amanda Blair; and one nephew Kyler Lincoln. In addition to his mother, he to survived by his wife, Susan Dunn Witcher of the residence; three brothers, Vincent H. Witcher III of Richmond, Ronald B. Witcher of Richmond and James S. He was a member of Northgate Baptist Church and was also a Shriner and a member of Omar Temple and a Mason and a member of Progress Masonic Lodge. He was employed with F.M. Young Co., Inc., with 23 years of service as an electrical foreman. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Donna Cocke Duncan of Orangeburg; two sons, Hilton Mayo Duncan III and Brian Owen Duncan, both of Orangeburg; his parents of Orangeburg; his grandfather, W.R. Redding of Orangeburg; three sisters, Shelia D. Williams of Orangeburg, Becky D. Gray of Neeses and Fran Duncan of Irmo; and a number of nieces and nephews. on August 7, 1994.³

He earned his Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and retired from the SC State Board of Technical Education. He was a member of the USC Alumni Asso- ciation. Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Debra Cocke Mellon; son, Christopher Mellon of Irmo; daughter, Ashley-Frances Mellon of Irmo; stepdaughter, Candace McRae (Jerry) of Edwards, Colorado; sister, Eleanor Dunham (Steve) of Southampton, New York; brother, Peter Mellon (Marlene) of Richmond, Virginia; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Connie Mellon. He will be forever missed and remembered as a loving husband, father and friend. He truly touched everyone with whom he came in contact, stranger or friend. He was a member of and deacon of Bonbrook Baptist Church and a World War II Navy veteran. He and his wife Elaine were co-owners of Valley Pet Foods and Crider Livestock, Ltd. He was on the board of directors of Stripers Landing Water and Comprehensive Association for 20 years. Mr. Crider is survived by his wife, Elaine Ryan Crider, known as Mrs. Carlton A. Crider, of the residence; one son, Henry G. Crider and his wife, Tonya, of Danville; one sister, Phyllis E. East and her husband, Paul of Chatham; two grandchildren, Hannah Crider and Forrest Crider; one great-grandchild, Brayden A. Crider; and a spoiled little Schnauzer, Little Rudy. He was predeceased by three sisters and three brothers, Virgil Dean Crider, Rachel C. Saunders, and Onyx G. Crider, Virginia C. Forney, J. Haywood Crider, and Myrtle Crider.      Forrest Matthew Crider Forrest Matthew Crider, December 30, 1982 - August 20, 2021. Sorrowfully we announce the death of Forrest Matthew Crider (38) on Aug 20 at Bassett Va. He is survived by his mother Carolyn Crider Doss (Reuben) and father Henry Crider (Tonya), sons Brayden, Colton, and Cameron, sister Hannah Stowe (Matt), niece Crider Stowe, grandmother Barbara Pickeral, stepbrother Andrew Doss, aunt Nancy Shumate (Harvey), uncle Andy Pickeral (Anne), fiancée Ashleigh Burnette, a number of cousins and relatives, and his beloved dog Harley. Forrest was born Dec 30, 1982, at Danville, Va. He graduated from Gretna High School in 2001. He was born on August 27, 1932, in Pittsylvania County, the son of the late Samuel Ferguson Shelton and the late Anne Yeatts Shelton. He is survived by his wife, Adylene Cocke Shelton. He attended Oak Grove Christian Church. He worked as butcher for many years and loved working on cars. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother, Francis Shelton and his wife Sandy; a step-son, Henry G. Crider and his wife Tonya of Chatham; two step-grandchildren, Forrest Crider of Callands and Hannah C. Stowe and her husband Matt of Raleigh, NC; as well as numerous other family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Shelton; a son, Woody Shelton; brothers, Edward Shelton and Melvin Shelton; sisters, Catherine Rigney, Essie Lester, Ollie Jackson, Oxus Keely, and Iris Salisburg.
