A lifelong Charleston resident, she formerly worked for True Temper Co. Mrs. Saunders belonged to the Mormon Church. She is survived by her husband, James H; daughters, Sharon of Washington, D. C., Sondra at home; sons, William G. and Michael J. at home; mother, Mrs. Ruth Guthrie Lanham of Charleston Rt. 5; sisters, Mrs. Imogene Keffer of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Connie Hughart and Mrs. Barbara Shaffer of Charleston; brothers, Paul of Charleston Rt 5. and Jerry Lanham. on October 16, 1967.²
