Lewis was born September 24, 1949. Lewis was a farmer and was saddened to retire due to his illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abbott K. Herndon and Frances Gibbs Herndon. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife and best friend, Rebecca "Becky" Dodson; his stepchildren, Tina Auth, Clarence Deal Jr. and Douglas Deal; his sisters, Barbara Cosner and her husband, Grant and Erlyne Smith and her husband, George; his grandchildren, Morgan, Katie, Austin, Autumn and Laci; as well as many many other friends and family members. Special thanks to Hospice of the Rapidan, Dr. Thomas Harris of University of Virginia, and to all the wonderful people that helped and participated in the "Farmers Parade" that took place in Lewis's honor on May 28, 2009. Richardson of North Garden, Virginia; one brother, Todd Richardson and his wife, Kim, of Earlysville, Virginia; and three nephews, Justin, Corey and Hunter. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Goochland. on April 16, 2010.³

     Dylan Michael Richardson was buried at Mount Gilead Church Cemetery, Tabscott, Goochland Co., Virginia.^4,2 He was born on October 23, 1997 at Charlottesville, Virginia.^2,3 He died on August 17, 2012 at Charlottesville, Virginia, at age 14.^4,2 He Dylan Richardson, 14, of Charlottsville, Virginia, died on Friday, August 17, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael L. Richardson; and paternal grandmother, Charlotte P. Richardson. He is survived by his mother, Amy L. Dorman and her husband, Elzie, of Charlttesville; paternal grandfather, Lawrence T. Richardson of Scottsville; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Becky Brown of Mineral, Virginia; step-grandparents, Gene Dorman of Louisa and Gracie Shelito of Mineral; two brothers, Alex Dorman and Joey Dorman, both of Charlottesville; and a special friend, Corey. He is also survived by numerous other relatives, friends, and family. Dylan was an 8th grader from Walton Middle School. A Funeral service will be held graveside at Mount Gilead Baptist church with the Reverend Vivian Utz officiating. on August 19, 2012.⁴
