     Marilyn June Bostic Marilyn "June" Via, age 87, of Gratis, OH passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Maple Gardens Health Care Center in Eaton, OH. She was born April 13, 1935 in Ellenboro, WV to the late Arthur and Sylvia Bostic. She was a member of Sugar Valley United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph E. Via; son Rodney (Debbie) Via; brothers Robert, Dan, Eddie, and Darrell Bostic; sister Carol Marsh; and daughter-in-law Jeanne Via. She is survived by her sons: Ralph (Theresa) Via of Oregon, Gregory (Rhonda) Via of Camden, Brian Via of Camden and Darrell Via of Germantown; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis.¹ She was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Gratis, Preble Co., Ohio.¹ She was born on April 13, 1935 at Ellenboro, Ritchie Co., West Virginia.¹ As of December 16, 1953,her married name was Via.² She married Ralph Edward Via Sr., son of Samuel Howard Via Sr. and Gladys L. Bailey, on December 16, 1953 at Preble Co., Ohio.^3,2 Marilyn June Bostic died on October 12, 2022 at Eaton, Preble Co., Ohio, at age 87.¹

She was born Oct. 20, 1956, in Hamilton, Ohio, to William and Betty Humphrey Nein. She was manager of Star Bank in Middletown. She was married to Rodney Via on Sept. 23, 1978. She graduated from Preble Shawnee High School in 1974 and Miami University in 1978. She was a member of Delta Zeta at Miami University. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Leslie Via at home; a son, Clint Via at home; her father, William Nein of Miamisburg, Ohio; a sister, Vickie Miller of West Alexandria, Ohio; a brother, William Nein of Woodland Park, Colo; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Humphrey Nein, on March 23, 1989; and a nephew, Nicky Via. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden. on December 1, 1996.²

     Douglas Eugene Via Douglas E. Via, age 50, of Germantown, OH passed away suddenly on Monday, November 18, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 8, 1969 in Kettering to Joyce (Brown) Via and the late David L. Via, Sr. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his mother Joyce Via of Germantown; daughters Adrianna (Kenneth) McWilliams III and Breanna Via both of Gratis; granddaughter Octavia McWilliams; brothers David L. (Cindy) Via Jr. of Monroe and Jeffrey (Theresa) Via of Gratis; niece Kylie Via; nephews Cameron and Collton Via; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.² He was born on October 8, 1969 at Kettering, Montgomery Co., Ohio.^2,3 He married Amy Louise Dull on August 31, 1991 at Preble Co., Ohio.³ Douglas Eugene Via died on November 18, 2019 at Germantown, Montgomery Co., Ohio, at age 50.²
