She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Alvin Curtis Carter of Pearisburg, two daughters, Robin Hill of NC, Angi Carter of Pearisburg, three sons, Mark Carter (Jolie) of NJ, Frankie Carter of NC, Chris Carter (Gina) of Pearisburg, seven grandchildren, Karen Gould, Kenny Hill, Jeane Davis, Stephanie Carter, Nicholas Carter, Nikki Carter, Andi Carter and four great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Jackie Carter, one grandson, Michael Carter and one great grandson, Rylan Harden and two sisters. Curtis was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead for 39 years and retired from Sears as a service Technician after 28 years. Curtis enjoyed hunting with his sons, playing with his grandchildren, working in his vegetable garden and he loved to cook with his wife Jackie at Anna’s Restaurant in Narrows. He is survived by two daughters, Robin Hill of NC, Angi Carter of Pearisburg, three sons, Mark Carter (Jolie) of Winchester, Frankie Carter of NC, Chris Carter (Gina) of Pearisburg, seven grandchildren, Karen Gould, Kenny Hill, Jeane Davis, Stephanie Carter, Nicholas Carter, Nikki Carter, Andi Carter, four great grandchildren, Dylan Glisson, Austin Glisson, Michaela Harden and Noah Carter, three sisters, Margaret Jones, Ruby Christian, Alice Jo Mann and two brothers, Harry Landon Carter and John Carter. Burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
