     Jessie Homer Crabtree was buried at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, Henrico Co., Virginia.² He was born on January 6, 1929 at Bramwell, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^1,2 He married Rosa Virginia Terry, daughter of Robert Harrison Terry and Lillie Mae Reed, on February 26, 1953 at Kellysville, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^1,3 Jessie Homer Crabtree died on March 26, 2022 at Charles City, Charles City Co., Virginia, at age 93.² He CHARLES CITY — Jesse Homer Crabtree, 93, of Charles City, Virginia, passed away on March 26, 2022, peacefully at his residence after battling a long-term illness. Homer (as he was known to his friends and family) was born January 6, 1929, in Bramwell, West Virginia, to the late Arleigh Clelle and Scioto Savannah Crabtree. He served his country in the US Army for two years, and then he spent most of his career as a bus mechanic, working for Trailways and then Greyhound, from which he retired. As a true mechanic, he was fascinated by anything with an engine, including not only automobiles and buses, but trains and airplanes. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing his harmonica, riding bikes, and sketching airplanes, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Crabtree was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who loved his God first, and his family second. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Rosa Virginia Crabtree; his son, Timothy H. Crabtree (Wendy) of Highland Springs, Virginia, his daughter, Mavis Jefferson (Donald) of Highland Springs, Virginia, his son, Randall O. Crabtree (Debi) of Ocala, Florida, his son, James Mark Crabtree (Janice) of Henrico, Virginia, and his son, Lorne G. Crabtree (Teri) of Fitzgerald, Georgia; 15 grandchildren; and 21 ½ great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Alan Clelle Crabtree, one brother, and four sisters. The family would like to express their heart-felt appreciation for Mr. Crabtree’s caregiver’s, Tracy and Capricia, and hospice nurses, Shelly and Jennifer. The family would also like to say a special thanks to family members, Kaye Harris, Jill Jefferson and Natasha and Scott Greene for helping with the care of Mr. Crabtree. A private interment will be held at a later date in Washington Memorial Park. on March 28, 2022.²

     Rita Carol Terry was buried at Christie Cemetery, Willowton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^4,6,2 She PRINCETON, WV - Rita C. Reed, age 62 of Princeton, WV, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 13, 2008 as a result of injuries she received from a vehicle accident. She was born October 24, 1946 at Oakvale, WV, and was the daughter of Lafayette and Sybil Kupner Terry of Princeton, WV. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Ethan Lee Atwell. Rita was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, she dedicated her life to the ministry of the Lord along with her husband, Rev. Bill Reed. She loved to sing gospel music, cook, and garden. She was a teller at the First National Bank Of Peterstown for 25 years. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Rev. Charles W. “Bill” Reed. Two daughters, Ginger Atwell and husband Tony of Willowton, WV, and Myra Frazier and husband Earl of Winston Salem, NC; two grandchildren, Chance and Isabella Atwell; four brothers, Paul Terry and wife Imogene of Willowton, WV, Wayne Terry and wife Jeanette, Vincent Terry and wife Dottie all of Princeton, WV, and Gerald Terry and wife Ruth of Elgood, WV; three sisters, Linda Robertson and husband Olen of Willowton, WV, Bernice Combs and husband Rick, and Barbara Kupner and husband Scottie all of Princeton, WV. Burial will follow at the Christie Cemetery, Willowton, WV.² Her Social Security Number was 232-72-5630.⁷ She was born on October 24, 1946 at Oakvale, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^6,2,7 As of June 12, 1965,her married name was Reed.³ She married Rev.
