Relatives said Johnson was on a business trip to California when the accident occurred. He was born Dec. 6, 1937 in DeKalb, the son of Maurine Adee Alexander and Roy E. Johnson. He was married Jan. 30, 1959 at Denver, Colo., to the former Ruby Chick. Johnson was in the U. S. Air Force from February 1957 to June 1961. He was a member of the Sportsmen's Club at Dallas and was confirmed in the First Methodist Church of De Kalb. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, and two daughters, Marci Lenne, 20 months, and Teresa Gay, six months. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. on April 9, 1962.²
