Arthur; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Kenneth Wright of Roanoke; daughter, Laura Arthur of Salem; brother and sister-in-law, Douglas G. and Gloria Arthur of Salem; two grandchildren, Chandler and Kensey Wright of Roanoke; nieces and nephews, April Arthur, Sam Arthur, and Brian Arthur, all of Salem, and Susan Stacey of Atlanta, Ga; and several other nieces and nephews from out of state. Burial with Masonic rites will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. on January 22, 1995.⁴

She was born December 4, 1959, to the late Nadine Sowder Arthur of Roanoke and the late Ennis Jewell Arthur Jr. of Salem. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Kenneth F. Wright; a daughter, Kensey Marie Wright, and a son, Chandler Franklin Wright. She also is survived by her mom, Audrey B. Arthur; her sister, Laura D. Arthur, and an uncle and aunt, Glen and Gloria Arthur, all of Salem. Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Mary Kelch of Roanoke; brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Roanoke, and a member of Salem Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, #161. Although her life on earth was brief, comfort may be found in Jesus' words to Martha at the death of her brother, “I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." She has gone on to join those before her, just as we shall follow her some day to our eternal home. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. on May 12, 1998.²

     Clyde Thomas Spoon was buried at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, Pulaski Co., Virginia.^5,6 He was born on August 16, 1924 at Greensboro, Guilford Co., North Carolina.^1,2,3,5 He married Ruby Lorraine Wimmer, daughter of William Lewis "Willie" Wimmer Sr. and Sarah Ellen Gearheart, on November 1, 1974 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹ Clyde Thomas Spoon and Ruby Lorraine Wimmer were divorced on April 21, 1981 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁴ Clyde Thomas Spoon died on October 17, 2014 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 90.⁵

     William Dewey Loving was buried at Southern Heritage Cemetery, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, Shelby Co., Alabama.³ His Social Security Number was 262-84-8557.⁵ He was born on August 31, 1948 at Lynchburg, Virginia.^1,2,4,5 He married Janis Lorraine Richardson, daughter of Harold Ward Richardson and Ruby Lorraine Wimmer, on August 7, 1971 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹ William Dewey Loving and Janis Lorraine Richardson were divorced on January 25, 1977 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.² William Dewey Loving died on May 24, 2008 at Pelham, Shelby Co., Alabama, at age 59.^3,5 He LOVING, William "Dewey" age 59, of Pelham, died May 24, 2008. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend. Known affectionately as "Dah" to his six cherished grandkids, "Mr. Dewey" will be remembered for his deep concern for the well-being of children worldwide. Active in Buck Creek Masonic Lodge #410 and Zamora Shrine Temple, "Mr. Dewey" and his bride of 32 years, Donna, have been enthusiastic supporters of Shriners Hospitals for Children. "Mr. Dewey" even shaved his head once to raise $1,000 for children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate. "Mr. Dewey" was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Loving. In addition to "Mr. Dewey's" bride, Donna, survivors include his mother, Winfred Gillispie; two daughters, Mandy Loving-Crews and her husband Byron Crews, and Amy Barr; grandchildren, Brandon Buster, Jordan Loving, Gage Evans, Gracie Loving, Haley Crews, and Brandon Barr; sisters, Cindy (Gary) Bach and Diane (Jim) Pridemore; father and mother-in-law, Reuben and Winona Wingate; brothers-in-law, Terry (Beverly) Wingate, Jerry (Diane) Wingate, and Stanley (Sherry) Wingate; "Mr. Dewey's" dear friends, Wayne Dunaway and Larry Pence; beloved dog, Porter Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many other family and friends. Burial will follow in Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham with full Masonic rites. on May 26, 2008.³
