He passed away peacefully on September 3, 2019 at Westminster Village in Terre Haute, Indiana surrounded by loved ones. After graduating from Danville High School, Glen then enlisted U.S. Coast Guard. He served in World War II as a Motor Machinist Mate First Class. They married that same year and on July 3, 2019 celebrated 72 years of marriage. Glen enjoyed roller skating, traveling, riding his bicycle, golfing, swimming, playing handball, snow skiing, gardening, taking care of his yard and making spur of the moment drives to Michigan for cherries and white fish.
