     Wesley E. Stenger was buried at Baxter Springs Cemetery, 2500 West Highway 166, Baxter Springs, Cherokee Co., Kansas.² He Wes Ed Stenger, age 88, of Riverton, KS passed from this life Saturday, August 21, 2010. Wes was born August 27, 1921 in Houston, Missouri to Fred and Flora (Phillips) Stenger. He graduated from High School in Houston, MO and then joined the Army. He was stationed at Camp Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he met Phyllis Elaine Littrel. After serving in WWII for nearly 4 years, he returned to Colorado Springs and married Phyllis on March 20, 1946. Wes worked as a C.P.A. for the Free Press newspaper. Their daughters, Janice and Sheryl, and son, Mark, were born there. In 1968 they moved to Baxter Springs, KS where their daughter, Beckey, was born. After Phyllis passed away in 1982, Wes married Grace Cochran, a lifelong acquaintance from Houston, MO on July 21, 1984 in Baxter Springs, KS. He worked for and retired from LaBarge, Inc. in Joplin. Wes served on the board of the Rural Water District #3 for 20 years. He was also an avid gardener. Wes was a member of the Riverton Friends Church of Riverton, Kansas. Survivors include two daughters, Sheryl Mallory and husband, Art, of Baxter Springs, KS. and Janice McCaslin and husband, Jim, of Oklahoma City, OK and one son, Mark Stenger, of Huntsville, AL, one sister, Betty Shoush, of Strafford, MO, and one brother, John Stenger, of Houston, MO. Wes had three grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death were his parents, his first wife Phyllis, his daughter Beckey, one sister Hazel Scharnhorst, and one brother Will Stenger.³ He was born on August 27, 1921 at Houston, Harris Co., Texas.^2,3 He married Phyllis Elaine Littrel, daughter of Elmer Carl Littrel and Estella C. "Stella" Miller, on March 20, 1946 at Colorado Springs, El Paso Co., Colorado.^1,3 Wesley E. Stenger died on August 21, 2010 at Cherokee Co., Kansas, at age 88.^2,3

Mrs. Anderson was born in Smyth County on November 10, 1967. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lola Anderson; granddaughter, Amelia Woods; and a sister, Anita Bullins. Donna loved sewing, and doing puzzles. She also enjoyed singing and clogging. Survivors Include two daughters, Shelby Brooks and husband, Odie, and Haley Kearney and husband, Joshua Woods; father, Harvey S. Anderson; grandchildren, Alexis Roark, Madelyn Brooks, Levi Brooks, and Wesley Woods; sisters, Patty Medley and husband, Mike, Lisa Self and husband, George, and Helen Rogers; brother, Jesse Rogers, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015, at 1 p.m. in the Slemp Cemetery. on July 7, 2015.⁵

"Buddy" Bullins, age 74, died Monday, July 20, 2015, at his home in Sugar Grove, Virginia. Mr. Bullins loved his Lord, loved his family and his country. He was very proud of his military service in the United States Army. If he wasn't at his home, a few years ago you would find him at the flea market selling just about every tool imaginable. He was a wheeler and a dealer and will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Margie Thomas Bullins; and a sister, Millie Bullins Branson. Mr. Bullins is survived by his son, Ronnie Bullins and wife, Glenna of Marion, Virginia; two sisters, Peggy Bullins Cornett and husband, Allen, and Brenda Bullins Ringley and husband, Dale, all of Sugar Grove, Virginia; and several special nieces and nephews. on July 22, 2015.³

Garrick was born on September 2, 1956 at Marion, Smyth Co., Virginia.^3,2 He died on December 4, 2004 at Tijuana, Mexico, at age 48.^2,3 He Ronald L. Garrick, 48, died Dec. 4, 2004, at the Oasis of Hope Cancer Treatment Center in Mexico. He was born in Marion, the son of the late William Garrick and Sadie Long Garrick of Sugar Grove, Va., and was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Garrick. He had been employed by Bosley Construction, where he worked as a operating engineer and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: mother, Sadie Garrick, Sugar Grove; wife, June Dianne Moore Garrick; sons, Ronald A. Garrick and his wife Jennifer of Columbus, Ohio, and H. David W. Garrick , Columbus; brothers, John Garrick, Sugar Grove and Mark Garrick, Sugar Grove; granddaughters, Megan Garrick and Zoe Garrick; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Peggy Moore; his brothers-in-law, Russell, Robert and James Moore; and nieces and nephews, Bryant Garrick, Jamie Garrick, Matthew "Bubba" Garrick, Kayla Garrick, Haley Garrick, Jimmy Moore, Ashley Moore, Brandy Moore, Bobby Moore and Billy Joe Moore. Interment will follow in Slemp Cemetery. on December 4, 2004.²
