He was the fifth child of Orell and Alsine Joyce Robertson, born February 18, 1965 in Rockingham County. Kadren met his high school sweetheart, Valencia Goins at North Stokes High School. They married in 1983 and were married for 27 wonderful years. He was the proud father of sons, Cody Kadren Robertson and Spence Taylor Robertson. Kadren's personality, talents and work ethic continue in them. Along with his brother Keith, Kadren owned and operated Hemlock Golf Club, a business that was started in 1969 by their parents. Kadren took pride in maintaining the golf course for others to enjoy. Outside of work, he enjoyed family time, golf, fishing, carpentry and stock car racing. He was an active member at First Baptist Church of Walnut Cove where he served on the building and grounds committee. A 1:00 p.m. funeral service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Walnut Cove with Rev. Jim Cohn and Rev. Keith Love officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Robertson Adkins. He is survived by his loving wife, Valencia Goins Robertson of the home; sons, Cody Kadren Robertson and wife Amanda of Pinnacle and Spence Taylor Robertson of the home; parents, Orell and Alsine Robertson of Walnut Cove; two brothers, Floyd Robertson and wife Loretta of Greensboro, Keith Robertson and wife Cynthia of Walnut Cove; one sister, Vanessa Robertson and husband Bobby Bowden of Walnut Cove; father and mother-in-law, R.W. and Alice Goins, sister-in-law, Teresa Goins and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Kadren was well loved by family and friends. on August 5, 2011.3

Monday at St John's Lutheran Church, of Parkville. Mrs. Gempp, who was 56, died Thursday at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born in Roanoke, Va., she moved to Baltimore 54 years ago. She resided on Cub Hill Road with her husband, Rowland H. Gempp, a retired employee of the General Motors Corporation. After raising her family, the former Lucille Goodwin, joined the Equitable Trust Company in 1958 and worked there 14 years in a variety of positions, including assistant branch manager and teller-training instructor. Mrs. Gempp, who graduated from Eastern High School, was a member and former president of the Soroptimist International of Towson, a professional women's service organization. She was also a member of St John's Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband, ber survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Donna Hindle, Mrs. Judith Gordon and Mrs. Patricia Krueger, all of Baltimore; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Kubski, of Baltimore, and nine grandchildren. on August 13, 1977.7

Gempp, a longtime employee of General Mothers will be at 1 pm tomorrow at St. John's Luther Church 8808 Harford Road, Parkville. Mr. Gempp, 66, a lifetime resident of the Baltimore area, died of a heart attack Tuesday at his home on Cub Hill road in Carney, four months after the death of his wife. Mr. Gempp worked for the General Assembly Division for 36 years. During his retirement he was active in the General Motors Retirement Club. Mr. Gempp was married to the former Lucille Goodwin Dreannan, who died in August. Survivors include three stepdaughters Donna Hindle of England, and Judith Gordon and Patricia Kruger both of Baltimore; a brother Leonard Gempp of Baltimore; a sister Dorothy Baxter of Baltimore and nine grandchildren. Burial will be at Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery on Taylor Avenue. on December 8, 1977.1
