     John Baldwin Daniel was buried at Daniel Family Cemetery, Liberty Co., Texas.^2,3 He was born on April 2, 1948 at Austin, Travis Co., Texas.^3,2 He died on November 12, 2002 at Black Mountain, Buncombe Co., North Carolina, at age 54.^2,3 He Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. for John Baldwin Daniel, who passed away on November 12, 2002, at his home in Black Mountain, North Carolina. The services will be held at The First United Methodist Church, Liberty, with Dr. Charles R. Greene and Dr. David R. Murph officiating. Interment will follow at the Daniel Family Cemetery in Liberty. Mr. Daniel was born on April 2, 1948, in Austin, Texas. He was educated in the public schools of Austin and Liberty, graduating from Liberty High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University in 1977, majoring in political science and journalism. He also attended Montreat-Anderson College, Montreat, North Carolina, where he was employed at the L. Nelson Bell Library. Mr. Daniel was the author of THIS POOR MAN CRIED, A Collection of Devotionals on Psalm 34, and he served as a contributing writer for the Citizen's Advocate, Coppell, Texas. He was a member of the Black Mountain Kiwanis Club and a charter member of the Atascosito Historical Society, the support organization for the Sam Houston Regional Library and Research Center in Liberty. A devout Christian, Mr. Daniel was a member of the Montreat Presbyterian Church and was a regular visitor to The First United Methodist Church, Liberty. He was preceded in death by his father, Price Daniel, and his brother, Price Daniel, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Jean Baldwin Daniel, of Liberty; his sister, Jean Daniel Murph and her husband David R. Murph, of Grapevine; his brother, Houston Daniel and his wife Charlotte Daniel, of Liberty; his niece, Marilyn Jean Murph, of Austin; and his nephews, Daniel William Murph of Nolensville, Tennessee, Thomas Houston Daniel of Austin, Franklin Baldwin Daniel of Cypress, Timothy Houston Daniel of The Woodlands, Marion Price Daniel IV of Austin, and John Price Daniel of Liberty. He is also survived by a host of cousins, and many friends. Casket bearers will be Marilyn Jean Murph, Daniel William Murph, Thomas Houston Daniel, Franklin Baldwin Daniel, Timothy Houston Daniel, Marion Price Daniel IV, John Price Daniel, Maury Scobee, Jay L. Arnold, John E. Odom and Dennis McClintock. on November 17, 2002.²

     Martha Voe Partlow was buried at Cooke Memorial Cemetery, Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.¹ She was born on May 19, 1943.¹ She died on April 16, 1981 at age 37.¹

     Helen Florence Partlow was buried at Liberty City Cemetery, Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.³ She Helen Partlow Fairbrother passed away on March 19, 2015 in Liberty, TX at her home on Grand Avenue. Helen was 99, just three months shy of her 100th birthday. She was the daughter of the late R.G. Partlow and Voe Calhoon Partlow. Helen was born on June 8, 1915 in the same house on Grand Avenue where she spent her last years and where she died. She was the second child and the oldest daughter in a big, loving, rambunctious family. Helen began sharing the house with her brother, Samuel Partlow, two years before he died in 2004. Her sister, Elizabeth Partlow Wilson, later moved in to share the home and continues to live there. Helen attended Liberty Elementary and then Liberty High, where she was the valedictorian of her class. She then attended the University of Texas and majored in Business administration. After dropping out for some years to work during the depression, she returned to school, graduated, moved to Houston, became an Executive Secretary at Esso (as it was then), met and married her husband, Horace Walton Fairbrother, who was then a chemical engineer. They married at Liberty Methodist Church in 1941. Helen moved to Baltimore, MD where her husband became Rector of St. Matthias Episcopal Church (after time at Divinity School in Sewanee), and after twenty-seven years in Baltimore, retired and came back to Liberty –home. Helen is best remembered for her hospitality and graciousness – there were many gatherings of church groups and friends in her home—for her good humor, managerial ability in organizing church suppers and other events, and her equanimity. And, of course, we close family and friends remember her best for being the mother of six children and beloved friend, aunt and sister. She was a member of several church groups, including Daughters of the King, Episcopal Church Women and the Altar Guild, as well as a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband; The Rev. H.W. Fairbrother Jr, brothers; Ross Gerald Partlow, Thomas Samuel Partlow, sisters; Rose Partlow and Geraldine Young. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons; Blair Fairbrother and wife Fran of Forest, VA, Tim Fairbrother and wife Debra of Starkville, MS, Ross Fairbrother of Arlington, VA, Phillip Fairbrother and wife Cheryl Smart of Westminster, SC, daughters; Gerry Fairbrother and husband John Smith of Santa Fe, NM, Susan Fairbrother and husband Michael Rubano of Encinitas, CA, grandchildren; Helen Margaret Hendrickson, Inga Hendrickson, Scott Fairbrother, Karen Irizarry, Scarlett Wallace, Sam Fairbrother, Sarabeth Fairbrother, Rachel Smart, Trevor Smart, Jonah and Noah Smith, fifteen great-grandchildren, sister; Elizabeth Partlow Wilson and seven nieces and nephews.¹ She was born on June 8, 1915 at Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.¹ As of 1941,her married name was Fairbrother.¹ She married Rev. Horace Walton Fairbrother Jr. in 1941 at Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.¹ Helen Florence Partlow died on March 19, 2015 at Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas, at age 99.¹

     Thomas Samuel Partlow was buried at Liberty City Cemetery, Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.² He was born on August 16, 1922.² He died on August 27, 2004 at age 82.²

     Voe Elizabeth Partlow was buried at Liberty City Cemetery, Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.⁴ She was born on September 17, 1920. As of circa 1944,her married name was Wilson.² She married Robert Howard Wilson Sr. circa 1944.^2,4 Voe Elizabeth Partlow died on January 28, 2020 at age 99.

     Rev. Horace Walton Fairbrother Jr. was buried at Liberty City Cemetery, Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.² He was born on January 5, 1914.² He married Helen Florence Partlow, daughter of Ross Gerald Partlow Sr. and Voe Botkin Calhoon, in 1941 at Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.¹ Rev. Horace Walton Fairbrother Jr. died on December 6, 1996 at age 82.²

     Rose Marie Partlow was buried at Liberty City Cemetery, Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.² She was born on April 28, 1918.² She died on January 10, 1977 at age 58.²

     Geraldine Partlow Geraldine "Deanie" Partlow Young – age 85 passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011 in Houston. Deanie was born in Liberty, Texas November 12, 1925 the daughter of the late R.G. Partlow and Voe Calhoon Partlow. She was a dedicated member of her church, Hardin United Methodist Church and enjoyed her puzzle books. As a young woman she ranched, farmed, and rode horses. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. A homemaker mainly, she also worked for Hardin ISD as a substitute teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband Horace Hamilton Young, sister Rose Partlow and her brothers Ross Gerald Partlow, Jr. and Thomas Samuel Partlow. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Laura Yarbrough and husband Bill of Hardin, Sophie Ethridge and husband Kenny of Dayton, sisters Helen Fairbrother of Liberty, and Elizabeth Wilson of Houston. Five grandchildren, William Yarbrough and wife Carrie, Lane Yarbrough, Roxie Asbill and husband Michael, Laura Lee Williams and husband Brad, Hec Ethridge and wife Hayley. As well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and close friends. A funeral service will be held 2PM Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the church with burial to follow in Hardin Chapel Cemetery.² She was buried at Hardin Chapel Cemetery, Hardin, Liberty Co., Texas.^3,2 Her married name was Young.² She married Horace Hamilton Young.^2,3 Geraldine Partlow was born on November 12, 1925 at Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.^2,3 She died on June 9, 2011 at Houston, Harris Co., Texas, at age 85.^2,3

     Horace Hamilton Young was buried at Hardin Chapel Cemetery, Hardin, Liberty Co., Texas.² He married Geraldine Partlow, daughter of Ross Gerald Partlow Sr. and Voe Botkin Calhoon.^1,2 Horace Hamilton Young was born on December 6, 1921.² He died on November 16, 2009 at age 87.²
