     Ida Mae Musick Ida Mae Wood, 91, of Bluff City, Tennessee, went to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born in Honaker, Virginia, to the late Talmadge and Tina Thompson Musick. She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Wood, Sr; her brothers, Ralph, Herman, Jack, and Carl Musick; her sister, Byrd Gibson, and her son in law Gary Jarrett. She was a native of Russell County, Virginia, and had lived in Bluff City for the majority of her life. Mrs. Wood was a graduate of Honaker High School and a member of the Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church in Bristol, Tennessee. She was known as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survivors include her daughter, Joy Jarrett of Bluff City; sons, Roy Wood and his wife Jane of Blountville, George H. Wood, Jr. and his wife Marjorie of Simpsonville, South Carolina; sister, Belle Dishner of Bristol; six grandchildren; Mesha Rowan, Melanie Jarrett, Mariah Roberts, Matthew Wood, Valerie Sinn, and Carl Wood; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife, Martha Ellen Wood Testerman; a son, Lester A. Testerman, Sr. of Bel Air; two half brothers, June Parks of Abingdon and Otis Parks of Marion, Va; and a grandson. Interment was in Harford Memorial Gardens with military honors. Military personnel from Aberdeen Proving Ground served as pallbearers. on September 29, 1988.1
