Tommy was born July 5, 1941, in Warren, PA, the son of the late Bertel and Mildred Hulings Hammerbeck. Tommy lived in Clarendon, but had also spent much of his time in Hallton, PA, with his companion, Mary. Tommy was employed by Rexnord as a machinist for thirty years from which he retired. He was one of the first paramedics in Warren, PA, and one of the first EMT's to start the former Transcare, now Emergycare, where he later stayed on as an instructor. He was a member of the Clarendon Volunteer Fire Department and also participated in Pennsylvania 155th Civil War reenacting. He also enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his companion, Mary Kowaluk of Hallton, PA; and six children, Tammy Wester of Warren, PA, and her children, Kristen and Jerry; Cathleen Jones of Starbrick, PA, and her daughter, Casie, Paul Jamison of Sheffield, PA, and his children, Evan and Jacob, Bill Jamison of Clarendon, PA and his children, Nikki McMillen, her husband, Tim, and Sean, Kelly Conti of Clarendon, PA and her daughter, Dayanaira, and Tommy Hammerbeck, Jr., his wife, Erin of Barnes, PA, and their children, Isaac and Noah; two sisters, Karen Larson, her husband, John of Warren, PA and Debbie Ariola, and husband, Keoki, of San Bernardino, CA; and several nieces and nephews.2 He was buried at Oakland Cemetery, 37 Mohawk Avenue, Warren, Warren Co., Pennsylvania.1 He was born on July 5, 1941 at Warren, Warren Co., Pennsylvania.3,2 He died on September 5, 2013 at Erie, Erie Co., Pennsylvania, at age 72.3,2
