Rhonda never met a stranger, would liven up any gathering, was generous and thoughtful, always helping others above herself. Surviving her are her husband of 22 years, Ted Leonard; stepson, Matthew Leonard of Atlanta, Ga; stepdaughters, Afton Leonard of Raleigh, N.C. and Alison Leonard of Glen Rock, Pa; three grandchildren; and her beloved dog Abbey. The family thanks close friend and caregiver, Janelle Binkley and her family. on June 11, 2018.4

(Billy) Garland, 59, of Roanoke, died on Saturday, October 13, 2012. Billy was a member of AmVets Post #40 and was an avid volunteer helping veterans. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie E. Garland and Hazel Garland Sink. Surviving is his wife, Sue Garland; seven sons, Billy Garland Jr. and wife, Patty, Tony Garland and friend, Jessica, Brian Garland and friend, Allison, David Weddle and friend, Kim, Jerry Weddle and friend, Missy, Mark Weddle and wife, Janice, and Kevin Weddle and wife, Holly; several loving grandchildren; one brother, Eddie Garland; three sisters, Mary Chewning and friend, Ronnie, Janice Hudson, and Tonette Rogers and husband, Randall; many other loving relatives and friends; and his pet bird, "Pretty Girl Garland." on October 16, 2012.3
