     Shirley Ann Sinner Shirley Ann Littrel was born on December 21, 1936 to Edward and Lydia (Hein) Sinner in the family farm house southwest of Culbertson, Nebraska. She attended school in Culbertson and graduated from Culbertson High School. Shirley married Roy Littrel on March 25, 1956 in her parents' home in Wauneta, Nebraska. She and Roy made their home on the Littrel Family Farm, 5 miles south of Hamlet, Nebraska, for several years before moving to a rented farm about 5 miles southwest of Palisade, Nebraska. The couple farmed near Palisade, Nebraska until they moved to Wauneta, Nebraska; where they have made their home since. Shirley was employed by Thomas Propane and Appliance Company when she first moved to Wauneta. Later she worked with Roy as custodians at the Wauneta Public Schools. In her later years, she was employed at Heritage of Wauneta where all of the residents and co-workers were like her extended family. Shirley was confirmed in the German Congregational Church in Culbertson, Nebraska and was later baptized and attended the Church of Christ in Wauneta, Nebraska. She liked to cook for her family, sew, knit and crochet. She enjoyed working in the garden and in her yard. She enjoyed fishing and looked forward to special outings with her sister and nieces. She was also very proud of her "Mini Wal-Mart" in the back bedroom. She is preceded in death by her parents, and a granddaughter Ashley (Littrel) Kulwicki. Survivors include her husband Roy Littrel of Wauneta, NE; four sons: Jamie Littrel and wife, Liz of Lincoln, NE; Jerry Littrel and wife, Sharon of Davenport, NE; Brent Littrel of Hastings, NE; and Troy Littrel of Wauneta, NE; grandchildren: Robert Littrel and wife, Kylene of Thedford, NE; Tiffeny Bentch and husband, Israel of North Aurora, IL; Shiloh Littrel and wife, Becky of Fall City, NE; April Littrel of Lincoln, NE; Seth Littrel of Hastings, NE; Tanner Littrel of Hastings, NE; and Jenna (Littrel) Kulwicki of Hastings, NE; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Dorothy Frecks and husband, Leonard of Elkhorn, NE; Brother Lloyd Sinner and wife, Gloria of Wauneta, NE; Brother-in-law Virgil and wife, Connie Littrel of Palisade, NE; sister-in-law Rosemary Darsa of Rockville, Maryland; and sister-in-law Virginia and husband, Dale Krausnick of Benkelman, NE.
