She was born in Patrick County on October 3, 1926 to the late Dennis and Pearl Goad Goard. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Worley was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Ernest Worley; a great-grandson; three brothers, Irvin, Albert and Edgar Goard; and one sister, Lelia East. She was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church and had retired from Bassett-Walker. Mrs. Worley is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest and Debi Worley of Holden Beach, North Carolina, Jerrell and Georgia Worley of Stuart; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Pauline Epperly and husband, William, Elaine Hughes and husband, Melvin, Nannie Ruth Lawson and Geneva Foley, all of Patrick Springs; one brother, Bobby Goard and wife, Ella Sue of Stuart and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor J.R. Shelton and Pastor Mark Wright officiating.
