Tracewell and Patricia L. (Holderith) Tracewell. He passed away Oct. 14, 2019. He spent most of his first three months of life in Methodist Children's Hospital in Indianapolis and the next 18 years in and out of Riley Children's Hospital. In his 50 years on this earth he came in contact with many people and overcame many obstacles during his life. He never gave up. Corwin was a very kind-hearted and a good, hardworking young man. He would do anything to help someone out, or be glad to give them or loan them anything they might have needed. He was a man of his word. Corwin's corneas will be donated to the Indiana Lions Eye bank, so hopefully he can keep an eye out on his favorite things in the world, semi's, trucks, and diesels. Corwin will be deeply missed by his family, but now he is at peace and a good worker in Heaven. When you remember Corwin, just do what Ellen said, "Be kind to everyone." Surviving Corwin are his parents; sisters, Christine Pavlovich and Dr. Cara Tracewell, Ph.D; two nephews, Caleb and Cody Nelson; and niece, Cheyenne Nelson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nollie Varnau, Clarence Holderith, and Don and Goldie Tracewell. A funeral service for Corwin will take place at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street, Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019, at 1 p.m. A time for gathering will be prior from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. on October 20, 2019.1

     Barbara Louise Parker On Thursday, August 10, 2017, Barbara Louise Parker-Evans went to be with husband while being surrounded by family and loved ones after a long hard fight with lung cancer. She was born on January 3, 1954 in Chicago IL to the late Walter R. Parker and Arnetta L. Parker. Barbara had three brothers, James “Jimmy” Parker & Laura Ann Parker of Carlise, Dickey Parker of OH and Walter “Frankie” Parker; one half sister Doris, and a half brother Duke both of Oak Hill. Barbara married her best friend Bobby Joe Evans on December 25, 1976. Together they have four children, one daughter, Angel Evans of Glen Jean; three sons, Christopher Evans and wife, Tina Evans, Michael Evans and Timothy Evans all of Glen Jean; niece, niece, Frances "Frani" Marshall and husband, Dwayne Marshall of Oak Hill; and a host of nieces, nephews and in-laws. Barbara loved animals and volunteered at the animal shelter for many years. She loved to be outdoors gardening. To say she was a stay at home wife and mother doesn’t do her justice. She was a short order cook, referee, teacher, doctor, nurse, the rock of her family. She never turned anyone away especially kids. Barbara has five wonderful and lucky grandkids to have had her as a mawmaw. Austin Evans, Destiny Evans, Diamond Evans and Saphire Evans all of Glen Jean, and Hailey Gardner of Meadow Bridge. Barbara will be cremated at Melton Mortuary in Beckley, WV.1 She was born on January 3, 1954 at Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.1 As of December 25, 1976,her married name was Evans.1 She married Bobby Joe Evans, son of Hubert Lee Evans and Pansy Ellen Swanigan, on December 25, 1976.1,2 Barbara Louise Parker died on August 10, 2017 at West Virginia at age 63.1
