     Katy Hidrith Brogan was buried at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, 16155 Midland Trail West, Crawley, Greenbrier Co., West Virginia.^4,2 She was born on September 7, 1925 at Giles Co., Virginia.³ As of June 19, 1944,her married name was Rogers.¹ She married Garland Anderson "Dutch" Rogers, son of Dorsey Matthew Rogers and Lura Alice Lawrence, on June 19, 1944 at Forest Hill, Summers Co., West Virginia.^1,2 Katy Hidrith Brogan died on August 23, 2014 at Ronceverte, Greenbrier Co., West Virginia, at age 88.² She HINES — Katy H. Rogers, 88, of Hines, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center at Ronceverte. She was a resident of The Brier Nursing Center and a longtime resident of Greenbrier County. She was the daughter of the late James B. and Alice Nannie Brogan. Katy was a homemaker and a graduate of Rupert High School. Preceding in death also is her late husband, Garland "Dutch" Rogers. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother Arnold, sisters: Margie Pugh and Barbara Bresenhan. Those left to cherish Katy's memory are one daughter, Linda Mallory and husband Tam of Charleston, two sons: Jim and wife Mary of Pasadena, MD, and Jerry and wife Patches of Lewisburg. She is also survived by one sister-in-law Hallie Foster of Beckley. She was a grandmother to three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be at the Wallace Memorial Mausoleum Chapel on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, 11 a.m. with Rev. Mike Routh of Pasadena, MD. Friends may visit with the family at the Mausoleum Chapel one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. on August 25, 2014.²

     William Darrell Jones was buried at Ballard Church Cemetery, Ballard, Monroe Co., West Virginia.² He was born on July 23, 1943 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia.¹ He died on September 20, 1943 at Junta, Summers Co., West Virginia.¹

     Carson A. Walker was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5250 Robert Centre Byrd Drive, Prosperity, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.² He was born on February 9, 1920 at Amigo, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.^1,2 He married Ruby A. Rogers, daughter of Dorsey Matthew Rogers and Lura Alice Lawrence, on August 6, 1944 at Crab Orchard, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.¹ Carson A. Walker died on June 18, 2011 at West Virginia at age 91.² He This past Saturday, June 18th, 2011, our most cherished, Carson Walker of Deepwood Avenue, Stanaford, passed away at the Bowers Hospice House. He was in his 91st year. One of four children, Carson Arl Walker was born on Feb. 9th, 1920, at Amigo. His parents were the late Choice Arl and Lillie Harvey Walker. Carson's brother, Coalston, and sister, Lota Porter, have preceded him in death. Carson spent his early years at Egeria. He graduated from Spanishburg High School. Carson Walker was a member of "The Greatest Generation." He was drafted into the U.S. Army during WWII, serving his country in the South Pacific. He was a recipient of the WWII Victory Ribbon and the Asiatic Pacific Theatre Ribbon. Carson furthered his education at Concord College where he received a degree in teaching. He held a master's degree in education from West Virginia University. A longtime teacher and principal in the Raleigh County school system, he retired as principal of Piney View Elementary. After retirement, Carson enjoyed gardening and his grandchildren. While tutoring one of his students, Dottie Legg, Carson would meet her mother, a pretty young widow, Alene. Carson and Alene Legg were married on August 9th, 1974. Dottie has always said, "Carson was the father I never had." Carson and Alene shared many good years together until her untimely death on May 16th in 2008. They worshiped at Stanaford Missionary Baptist Church. In these last years Carson's life was overshadowed by Alzheimer's disease. It is comforting to know Carson and Alene are together again. Those left to cherish his memory are Alene's daughter, Dottie Ashley and her husband, John, of Stanaford; and their children, Staff Sgt. David Thompson and his wife, Amanda, and their son, Ryan, and Kerri Cline and her husband, Adam, and their children, Makayla, Kamryn, and Emilea. Carson's children also survive; they are Robert Walker and his wife, Katie, of Columbia Station, OH, Douglas Walker and his wife, Rose, of Shalimar, FL, Gary Walker and his wife, Sue, of New Port Richey, FL, Twila Lafarlee and her husband of Winter Haven, FL, and Deborah Oneill and her husband, Bill, of Dunedin, FL; he leaves 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Carson was the fond brother of Macel Mills and her husband, Kenneth, of Beckley. On Tuesday, June 21st, at 1 p.m. we will remember the life of Carson Arl Walker with a "Service of Remembrance" at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. Phillip Lilly will be officiating. Carson will then be entombed beside his beloved Alene at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Prosperity. on June 20, 2011.²

(Kristi) Rose of Nampa, ID, Timothy Wayne Rose of Sacramento, CA, niece and nephew Paige Rose of Nampa, ID, Derek Rose and great niece, Nathalie Rose both of Phoenix, AZ. Grave side service will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Rose Cemetery, Strange Creek, with Minister Wayne Litton officiating.² He was born on March 31, 1964 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^2,3 He died on April 6, 2011 at West Virginia at age 47.^2,3

     Charles Christie Scott Jr. was buried at Athens Cemetery, Athens, Mercer Co., West Virginia.² He was born on September 4, 1956 at Alabama.^2,3 He married Alysia Kay Jones on April 24, 1982 at Giles Co., Virginia.³ Charles Christie Scott Jr. died on July 18, 2005 at age 48.²
