Michael was of the Baptist faith and a 1993 graduate of Clintwood High School and earned a degree as a certified upholsterer in 2003. Michael was a lifetime member of the Dickenson County Bowhunter Association and a member of the Moose Lodge of Front Royal, Va. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying bow hunting, fishing and four wheel riding. Michael was a special and caring person who touched all of our hearts. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Dallas Eskridge Sr., maternal grandparents, Dollie I. and Joseph C. Stanley, paternal grandparents, Arvil and Evelyn Eskridge, an uncle, Victor Lee Stanley, and a special cousin, Timothy Lee Stanley. Survivors: mother, Grace Darlene Stanley Mullins, Clintwood; sons, Andrew Ryan Lyle, Clintwood, Dallas Logan Eskridge, Pound and Spencer Allen Eskridge, Appalachia, Va; sisters, Vicki Jo Kay and husband Rick, Sevierville, Tenn., and Shawna Michele Eskridge and fiance, Matthew Keith, Clintwood; a special nephew, Parker Ray Keith; a host of aunts and uncles; special friends, Langley and Sharma McCoy and Shannon Eskridge Balthis of Pound; and a host of friends and loved ones. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, in Sadie Baker Memorial Chapel, Baker Funeral Home, with Reverend Franklin Hall officiating. Pallbearers will be Steven Cook, Wesley Cook, Bradley Hall, Brian Hall, Matthew Keith, Michael Hamilton, Hoyt Robinson, Denny Wright and Steven Hamilton.
