     Mary Eva Fields Elmore Rites - Final rites for Mrs. Eva Elmore, 38, who died Saturday at her home in Wilson Hollow are scheduled for Tuesday at 10:30 am at the Blue Creek Advent Christian Church. Rev. Estel Mundy will officiate and burial will be in the Hall cemetery at Blue Creek with the Albert Myers and son mortuary of Elkview in charge. Surviving are her husband, James Elmore, a son, Edward Elmore, her mother, Mrs. Luvina Elmore (sic), two sisters, Mrs. Alice Sheets and Mrs. Flora (sic) Sheets, both of Frame, and four brothers, Jarrett, Emmanuel, Thornton and Lee Fields, all of Walton.1 She was buried at Hall Warner Cemetery, Blue Creek, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.1,2 Her married name was Elmore.1 She married James Everette Elmore, son of Jesse Marshall Elmore and Mary Evelyn Cobb.1,2,3 Mary Eva Fields was born on April 16, 1899 at Kettle, Roane Co., West Virginia.2 She died on April 2, 1938 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 38.1,2

Elmore Sr., 70, of 3097 Biglerville Road, Biglerville, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at home. Born Dec. 9, 1934, in Charleston, W.Va., he was a son of the late James E. and Mary E. Fields Elmore. An Army veteran who served during the Korean War, Mr. Elmore was retired from Biglerville Home Center in Biglerville. He was a member of St. Johns Evangelical United Brethren Church in Chambersburg and the Eagles in Gettysburg. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Wanda M. Larch Elmore; and a son, James E. Elmore Jr. of Gettysburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Dugan Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Bendersville, with the Rev. Jerry W. Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Biglerville Cemetery. on January 22, 2005.2
