Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Smith Creek Church of the Nazarene, the Rev. Ned Crouch officiting.      Robert E. Lowe was buried at Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.2,3 He was born on July 13, 1892 at West Virginia.1,3 He died on August 4, 1911 at Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 19.2 He Charleston, August 5 - Robert E. Lowe, aged 20 years, a brakeman on the Kanawha and West Virginia Railroad, fell from the top of his train yesterday and was fatally crushed, dying from his injuries while en route to the hospital. A special hastened with the injured man directly to the city, and the Simpson ambulance was at the station to meet the train. Death came, however, just as the ambulance started to ascend the hill leading to the hospital. The remains were returned to the Simpson undertaking establishment and prepared for burial, and were later taken to the home of the young man;s parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Lowe, on Bigley avenue, near Magazine. The parents and several brothers and sister survive. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Swann's Chapel and interment will be made at Spring Hill cemetery. on August 5, 1911.2

Jimmie was a member of Kanawha United Presbyterian Church, where she was the oldest living member. She was a charter member of the Tween Timers Club and founder of the Knit Wits. Jimmie is survived by her daughters and a son-in-law, Lynda Harper of Charleston, Judy and Jim Butts of Sterling, Va., and Sammye Sands of Largo, Fla; grandchildren, Jo Ellen Brown, Gail Nasca, Penny Sabolsky, Tammi Pritchard, Scott Hoffman, Charles "Chuck" Hoffman, Michael Hoffman, Douglas Harper, Jason Harper, Mitzi Beneck, Jennifer Hustead, Andrea Neal, Shari Robinson, Julie Jay and Barry Sands; 32 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3, at Kanawha United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Amy Parker, Jimmie's great-niece officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church, before proceeding to the cemetery, Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home. The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice and her constant caregivers, Shari, Bonnie, Mescal, Mary and Jonathan for the special loving care of Jimmie. on March 2, 2005.3

Elmore, on January 2, 1912 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.8 Obe Vanderbilt Price died on March 21, 1953 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 68.2,3,6 He A retired stationary steam engineer shot and killed himself Saturday at his home at 1615 1/2 Bigley Av. Obe V. Price, 68, shot himself through the heart with a .38 calibre revolver in his bathroom about 3:55 p.m., a local police officer said. His wife, Macil, was at grocery store when the death occurred. Price, a former employee of the Elite Laundry, had been ill for several years, his wife said. His death was pronounced suicide by Dr. Goff P. Lilly, county coroner. Other survivors include three sons, William H. at home, Guy W. of South Charleston, and Carol D. of Charleston; a daughter, Mrs. James H. Knight of Charleston; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Ferrell, Charleston and Mrs. James Vaughn of North Charleston, and a brother, Brisbane of Chandler drive. on March 22, 1953.6
