Dale Laverne Maynard KOPPERSTON — Dale Laverne Maynard, 66, of Kopperston, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015, following a long illness. Born January 4, 1949, he was the son of the late Wade and Betty Maynard. Dale was a disabled coal miner. He is survived by a brother, David Neely of Kopperston, five nieces and nephews, 10 great nieces and nephews, several aunts and several cousins. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Kopperston Freewill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Raybon Cook officiating. Entombment will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Matheny. The family will receive friends 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday, at the church. Pallbearers will be Steven Ritchie, Steven Neely and Jackie Toler.2 He was buried at Palm Memorial Gardens, 9051 Appalachian Highway, Matheny, Wyoming Co., West Virginia.2 He was born on January 4, 1949 at West Virginia.1,2 He married Linda Kay Clark, daughter of Clinton Curtis Clark and Violet Maxine McMillion, on November 8, 1982 at Giles Co., Virginia.1 Dale Laverne Maynard died on January 24, 2015 at Wyoming Co., West Virginia, at age 66.2
