Born in Charleston, West Virginia, Mrs. Elmore had lived in Pooler for thirty years. She was a member of the Westside Christian Church and was employed with Derst Bakery where she had worked for the past twenty-eight years. Mrs. Elmore was preceded in death by her husband, John Elmore. Survivors include her children, Diana Fogle of Eden, Greg Elmore and his wife, Susan of Savannah, Jeff Elmore of Eden, Kathy Sellars and her husband, Jim of Bloomingdale and Becky Scroggin and her husband, Lamar of Bloomingdale; grandchildren, Brooke, Christopher, Melissa, Larry, Jason, Christie, Tyler, Kaleb and Marshall; brothers, Joseph Hicks of Guyton and Eddie Harding of Savannah; several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Funeral: 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment: Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery. on May 7, 2004.2

Pritt; children, Robert Pritt and his wife, Lisa, of Lizemores, Robin Waugh of Hurricane, Roberta Atha of Hurricane, Rebecca Wheeler and her husband, George, of Deep Water, Renea Muldrew of Deep Water and Rex Pritt and his wife, Marie, of Lee Branch; brothers, James E. Elmore of Ravenswood, Andy Elmore of Goldtown and Willard Elmore of Walton; sister, JoAnn Barnes of Rock Hill, S.C; a niece raised as a sister, Mary Patton of Sissonville; and several nieces and nephews. Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 17, at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, with the Rev. Claude R. Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. on April 17, 2009.4

He was a retired coal miner and carpenter. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Lawrence of Springfield, Ohio, and Lois Talbert of York, S.C. two sons, Linville McKinney of Leet and Chuckie McKinney of Proctorville, Ohio one sister, Erma Johnson of Chapmanville and two brothers, Jesse McKinney and Roy McKinney, both of Chapmanville.
