     Ethel Iola Slagel Ethel Iola, four month old daughter of Garl and Ruth Slagel died at 6:45 p.m. at the home of the parents on Condit Street. The baby had been ailing four days and was seriously ill one day. Surviving are the parents, a half brother James Nicholson; two grandmothers Mrs. Lulu Bragg and Mrs Mercy Hartley, and a step- grandfather, Charles Bragg, all of Roanoke; two great-grandmothers Mrs. Rebecca Martens of Roanoke and Mrs. Tatilda Jane Hartley of Millersburg, Michigan; and a great-grandfather Monroe Slagel of this city. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery on the Old Roanoke Road. The Rev. J.W.      Marjorie Eloise Dolby was buried at Gardens of Memory, 11201 South Marion Road 35, Huntington, Huntington Co., Indiana.^3,4 She was born on March 20, 1935 at Huntington, Huntington Co., Indiana.^2,3,4 As of July 30, 1953,her married name was Bragg.¹ She married Charles Harrison "Chuck" Bragg, son of Charles Cleveland "Charlie" Bragg and Lula Ethel VanMeter, on July 30, 1953 at Huntington Co., Indiana.¹ Marjorie Eloise Dolby and Charles Harrison "Chuck" Bragg were divorced on February 3, 1965 at Huntington Co., Indiana.^5,6 Marjorie Eloise Dolby died on June 9, 2013 at Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana, at age 78.^3,4 She Marjorie Eloise (Dolby) Karst, 78, of Indianapolis and formerly of Huntington passed away at 1:25 pm on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at her residence. She attended Huntington High School and worked at Bob's IGA and other various jobs. She was born on March 20, 1935 in Huntington, a daughter of Ralph E. and Opal B. (Obenour) Dolby. She was united in marriage to John F. Karst on July 17, 1965 in Columbia City. Her husband survives. Additional survivors include a daughter: Tina Marie Strayer of Indianapolis; a son: John F. (Heather) Karst II of Roanoke; two brothers: Pauldene (Rusty) Dolby of Markle; Dennis (Ruth) Dolby of Warsaw; a sister-in-law: Macinea (Bogdan) Dolby of Indianapolis; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ralph E. and Opal B. Dolby; a brother: James Eldon Dolby; and two children: Amy Lynn (Bragg) Weidler and Edward Charles Bragg. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 12:00 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Kati and John Schmucker officiating. Interment will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Huntington County. on June 12, 2013.³

LaVorgna and Amy Lynn Bragg were divorced on April 8, 1983 at Fort Wayne, Allen Co., Indiana.^3,4 Albert W. LaVorgna died on September 4, 2014 at Fort Wayne, Allen Co., Indiana, at age 67.^2,3 He Albert W. LaVorgna, 67, passed away Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, at Summit City Nursing Home in Fort Wayne. Born in New Haven, Conn., Albert worked construction for many years. Surviving are his brother, James A. (Cheryl) LaVorgna of Fort Wayne; and daughter, Sarah LaVorgna of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Sarah LaVorgna. on September 10, 2014.²

     Wilford Elliott Smith was buried at Clayton Baptist Cemetery, Clayton, Summers Co., West Virginia.¹ He was born on December 10, 1933 at Clayton, Summers Co., West Virginia.¹ He married Claudia Ailene Blevins on October 26, 1964 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia.^1,4 Wilford Elliott Smith died on November 20, 2016 at Clayton, Summers Co., West Virginia, at age 82.¹ He Wilford Elliott Smith, 82, of Kirby Mt., Clayton, passed away 3:00 pm Sunday November 20, 2016, at his home following a long illness. Born December 10, 1933, at Kirby Mt., he was the son of the late Elijah Lee "Bruce" and Eliza Jane Smith. A former timberman, logger, carpenter, mason, mechanic and machinist, he enjoyed hunting, outdoors, playing music with his family and spending time with his family and friends. He was of the Baptist Faith and was baptized by the late John Walker. Preceded in death by his son, Ernest Lee "Ernie" Smith; one grandson, Dee Cee Cochran; and several brothers and sisters. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 52 years, Claudia Blevins Smith of Kirby Mt; three children, Wilford David Smith of Indiana, Victoria Smith Kesler and husband John David of Kirby Mt. and Wilford Smith Jr. and wife Sybil of Kirby Mt; seven grandchildren, Dalton Elijah Lee Smith, Kristen Cales, Ariel Smith, Riley McKee, Eli Smith, Jossie Smith and Shenandoah Cochran; six great grandchildren, Juliette, Shenabelle, Daniel III, Caroline, Anna Marie and Tipton; two sisters, Clara Persinger of Princeton and Leota Cantley of Lowell; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Roger Persinger officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Baptist Church Cemetery. on November 21, 2016.¹
