Survivors include his wife, Barbara; son, David Sanderson of Deary, Idaho; three daughters, Geraldine Squires of Lewiston, Janice Dickerson of Boise and Karen Sanderson of Mukilteo, Wash; sister, Vivian Uhlir of Bovill; brother, Laud Sanderson of Bovill; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. on May 30, 1996.2

Vivian Lee Sanderson was born on October 2, 1927 at Bovill, Latah Co., Idaho.3 As of December 2, 1949,her married name was Uhlir.2 She married Kenneth Junior Uhlir on December 2, 1949 at Moscow, Latah Co., Idaho.2 Vivian Lee Sanderson and Kenneth Junior Uhlir were divorced circa 1974.3 Vivian Lee Sanderson died on May 29, 2015 at Moscow, Latah Co., Idaho, at age 87.3 She Vivian Lee Uhlir of Moscow, and a lifelong Bovill resident, died Friday, May 29, 2015, at Good Samaritan Moscow Village. She was 87. Vivian was born Oct. 2, 1927, at Bovill, to Byers and Clara Ann (Beck) Sanderson. She grew up and attended school at Bovill and was valedictorian of the first combined class of Bovill and Deary High School in 1946. She went to work as a cook in the logging camps and later owned Bailey's Cafe in Bovill. Later, she went to work as a custodian at the University of Idaho for 30 years, driving into town to work the night shift. She and Kenneth Uhlir were married in 1949 and divorced after 25 years of marriage. Vivian enjoyed entertaining, cooking, church and family gatherings. Surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth "Liz" (Ken) Way of Moscow; and a son, Kenleigh Uhlir of Bovill; along with four grandchildren, Deanna, Kenny, Trisha and Michael; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Byers, Laud and Max; and a sister, Lois. on June 4, 2015.3

Kenneth Lee “Kenny” Hart was buried at Bovill Cemetery, Bovill, Latah Co., Idaho.2,1 He was born on December 23, 1944 at Moscow, Latah Co., Idaho.1,2 He died on April 1, 2014 at Bovill, Latah Co., Idaho, at age 69.1,2 He Kenny passed away peacefully at his home in Bovill on April 1, 2014. Kenny was born Dec. 23, 1944, in Moscow. He was the son of Frank and Lois Sanderson Hart. Growing up in Bovill, Kenny grew to love small town life, never venturing far from his roots until age 23, when he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served as a tank operator and mechanic, contributing service in the Vietnam War. Upon his return, he worked for Baily's Tavern, owned and operated his own business, Elk Tavern, and worked at the University of Idaho. Kenny enjoyed going for Sunday drives to Elk River for his favorite huckleberry ice cream. He also enjoyed going with friends, Fred and Zeta, to Deary or Moscow for a bite to eat and the occasional visit to the casino with his friend June. Kenny enjoyed visiting his favorite spots and old stomping grounds in and around the Bovill area. He knew the area and its history well. Kenny will be remembered for his quick wit, generosity, popcorn balls, homemade noodles, his cooking in general, wildlife and feeding and watching hummingbirds that would gather on his front porch. Kenny was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and his brother, Keith. He is survived by his Aunt Vivien and Aunt Barbara; two nephews; numerous cousins; and many close friends. Cremation took place, and a personal family scattering followed. Interment and placement of the headstone will take place at a later date at the Bovill cemetery. on May 3, 2014.2

He enjoyed fishing and hunting, playing poker game machines and watching TV. He and Charlene Lukens were married in Lewiston on Jan. 23, 1972. She survives at their home in Deary. Also surviving are two sons, Robert Hart in Clarkston and Brian Hart in Colville, Wash; four grandchildren; and a brother, Kenny Hart of Bovill. His parents preceded him in death. Burial will follow at the Bovill Cemetery. on August 30, 2001.3

He was a man of few words and had a huge heart. He will be dearly missed. David is survived by his wife Margie at their family home in Deary; stepmother, Barbara Sanderson of Bovill; sons, Davey Sanderson and wife Lori, of Creswell, Ore., Jay Hancock and wife Char of Randle, Wash; daughters, Tracy Fraser and husband Mitch of St. Maries, Idaho, and Tammy Gray and husband Craig of Moscow; sisters, Janice Wallace of Alaska; Jerry Squires of Orofino, and Karen Sanderson of Mukilteo, Wash; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Byers Sanderson and mother Eva Sanderson; and son, Tony Halseth. on January 21, 2008.5
