Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 7, 1999, at 1:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church, Narrows, with Rev. Chris Michael officiating. Phyllis was a devoted and longtime employee of the New Castle High School cafeteria and Camp on Craig. Her dedication, kindness, and familiar presence in the community will be deeply missed. She is survived by her loving sister, Bonnie (Tony) Frango; her three daughters, Annette (Randall) Price, Deanne (Doug) Sowers, and Denise (Richard Jr.) Carr; grandchildren, Justin (Sara) Gable, Kaitlin Sowers (Ben), Shaun Price, Kayla (Peter) Flaherty, Joshua Price, Aaron Price, Victoria Carr, Elizabeth Carr (Nick), and Stephanie Carr; and six cherished great-grandchildren. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Luann Freese, a dear friend and caregiver, as well as to Gentle Shepherd Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
