Born in McDowell County, she was the daughter of Mrs. Emma Gentry Wyrick and the late James Walter Wyrick. She was a licensed practical nurse and a member of Matoaka Methodist Church. She had lived in Princeton for two years after moving from Arlington, Va. Survivors include her husband Harold Conner of Princeton; one daughter, Terry Leigh Harris, of the home; one sister, Mrs. Connie Baker of Carson, Miss; two brothers, Roger Wyrick of Brunswick, Ohio and Allen Wyrick of Princeton. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. on November 8, 1968.3

     Thomas Richard "Tom" Kitts Thomas Richard Kitts, 72, of Amarillo died July 5, 2019. Private family interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Thomas was born January 15, 1947 in Washington, D.C. to Bill and Beatrice Kitts. He was the oldest of 4 siblings. He grew up in Falls Church, VA and later moved to Houston, TX his senior year when his Dad accepted a job with NASA. Tom graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1966. He attended the University of Houston until he was drafted by the Army in 1971 during the Vietnam War. After 2 years of service in Heidelberg, Germany he returned to attend Lamar University to complete a degree in Geology. After college, he worked as a Wireline Engineer and then a Sales Engineer for Schlumberger. In the late 80’s Tom achieved the positon of Vice President of British Plaster Board. Later he worked in the natural gas side of the energy industry before retiring with CSI as Senior Sales Engineer in 2015. Tom married Terri Susan Shoemaker August 1, 1986 in Amarillo, TX. He was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church and later attended Hillside Christian Church every Sunday at 8:15. He was involved in many professional oil and gas organizations: SPWLA-Society of Professional Well Log Analyists, AAPG-Associaton of Petroleum Geologists, PPROA-Panhandle Producers and Royalty Owners Association, SPE-Society of Petroleum Engineers (scholarship chairman), API-American Petroleum Institute, Gas Compressor Institute in Liberal, KS and PIE-Petroleum Industry Education. In his spare time, Tom enjoyed skiing, hunting, playing/watching soccer, riding bicycles in Palo Duro Canyon, taking his dog to the park, and was a motorcycle enthusiast. He even had the nick name “Moto Doctor” for his talent of fixing almost anything in the garage. He loved spending time at the lake and on the slopes with family and friends where he was known for his great sense of humor and quick wit. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Survivors include his wife Terri Kitts; three children and their spouses Tod and Teri Kitts, Kheli and Joe Harless, Trevor and Meghan Kitts all of Amarillo; seven grandchildren: Damian, Braydon, Ryan, Ashlin, Casey, Tori, and Malorie; a sister, Donna Robinson and Husband Ken of Dripping Springs, TX; numerous nieces and a nephew; and his faithful Chocolate Lab Tank.2 He was buried at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 14200 Interstate 27, Amarillo, Randall Co., Texas.2 He was born on January 15, 1947 at Washington, D.C..2 He married Wanda Anne Fodrin on May 16, 1971 at Harris Co., Texas.5 Thomas Richard "Tom" Kitts and Wanda Anne Fodrin were divorced on May 2, 1983 at Potter Co., Texas.6 Thomas Richard "Tom" Kitts married Terri Susan Shoemaker on August 1, 1986 at Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas.2 Thomas Richard "Tom" Kitts died on July 5, 2019 at Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas, at age 72.2

     Steven Randall "Randy" Kitts Steven Randall Kitts, 68, of Lake Charles, passed from this life after fighting a long battle with cancer and ESRD on Monday, July 23, 2018. He was born in the District of Columbia on September 22, 1949 to his late parents, William T. and Dorothy B. Kitts. He was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church under Rev. Weldon Bares and was a generous giver to many local organizations. He was a 25 year member of the Lake Charles yacht club and avid sailor. He was the past president of the Lake Charles Yacht Club, and was awarded the James Sudduth award. Steven also loved working at the elections polls, assisting others with the voting process. He retired as plant manager, Big Three Industries, which took him to many places to live, and his favorite was in Hawaii. After retiring from Big Three Industries, he went to work in sales at Magnolia Life Insurance Company and was accomplished and recognized throughout his career. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 26 years, Erin "Jan" Kitts who was his loving caregiver for the last fourteen years that he suffered; a daughter, Dr. Jennifer Marie Kitts Lindley and husband Jonathan of Palm Beach, FL and two granddaughters, Bodhi Margo Lindley, Ever Dune Lindley; his best friend and sister, Donna Lynn Robinson and husband Ken of Austin, TX; one brother, Tom Kitts and wife Terri of Amarillo, TX; along with his devoted mother in law, Faye George of Lake Charles. Steven is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, William Terrance Kitts; and loving father in law, Charles E. George.3 He was born on September 22, 1949 at Washington, D.C..3 He married Margaret Inez Lyman on June 15, 1968 at Harris Co., Texas.2 Steven Randall "Randy" Kitts and Margaret Inez Lyman were divorced on July 28, 1972 at Galveston Co., Texas.5 Steven Randall "Randy" Kitts married Erin "Jan" George circa 1992.3 Steven Randall "Randy" Kitts died on July 23, 2018 at Lake Charles, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, at age 68.3
