The daughter of the late Cora Zerbe Ledebur and George Ledebur, she was also proceeded in death by: her two sisters, Althea Webster and Geraldine Buzard; and a daughter, Judith Downing Gilbert. Mrs. Downing was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and retired from Allied Chemical, now Honeywell. She was married to the late Ned Downing. They raised seven children and between them had 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces; and nephews. She leaves cherished memories with: her children Jef-fery Outlaw, Jonathan Outlaw, Ken Outlaw, Kristine Downing, Mary Boswell Downing, and Butch Downing; and her first husband and father of her three sons, James C. Outlaw. on April 6, 2014.⁶
