Burnett Carbaugh and the late Everett E. Carbaugh. Janice was a graduate of Oil City High School and received a degree in Business Management from DuBois Business College. She was the Acting Director at DuBois Business College. Janice was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and had been active with Venango Video, the Venango Area Chamber of Commerce and throughout the community. On March 20, 1965, she married Richard J. Barr, who survives. In addition to her husband, Janice is survived by her mother, Alice M Carbaugh of Belpre OH; a son, Chris Barr and wife Julie of Mooresville NC; a daughter, Ambe Lewis of Statesville NC; two grandchildren, Danielle Lewis of Statesville NC and Cody Lewis of Orlando FL; a brother, Curtis P. Carbaugh and wife Cheri of Titusville; a sister, Grace Arnold and husband Sam of Belpre OH; several nieces and nephews; and a special cousin, Paula Bittenbender of Titusville. on July 16, 2012.¹
