     Randall Lawrence "Randy" Dolby Randall “Randy” Lawrence Dolby, 66, of Brookville, died Saturday, September 7, 2019 at home following an illness. He was born on October 30, 1952 in Brookville. The son of the late Paul I. and Phyllis Smith Hinderliter Dolby. Randy graduated from Clarion Limestone High School. He retired from Wampum Hardware where he was a Blaster. Randy served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Eagles and American Legion. Randy enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his children; Lisa Dolby and her fiancé Mark Slabon of Mayport and Tara Dolby of Florida, a step-son Kevin Hoffman; grandchildren, Shawnee Dolby, Vivian Curll, Gavin Slabon and Taylor Hoffman; brothers, Blake Hinderliter of Shippenville and Jim Hinderliter and his wife Patricia of Strattanville and a sister, Jacqueline Smith and her husband Leonard of Marble. He is also survived by his longtime friends Beverly Hoffman and Joey Caldwell, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Paula Ellen Bowser. Family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Randy Evans presiding.1 He was buried at Clarion Cemetery, 2nd Avenue, Clarion, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.2 He was born on October 30, 1952 at Brookeville, Jefferson Co., Pennsylvania.1,2 He died on September 7, 2019 at Brookeville, Jefferson Co., Pennsylvania, at age 66.1,2

Searchers had been looking for the body of Bruce Owen Dolby, 20, of North East, for four days after he was presumed drowned while swimming near Shorewood Beach in Harborcreek. Dolby was reportedly swimming with two friends at the time of the accident. His body was discovered floating about 100 feet from shore, near where he was last seen swimming. Funeral services were held at ll a.m. today at the Bowers Funeral Home in North East. Born in Oil City June 19, 1962, Mr. Dolby was the son of Lawrence Gilbert Dolby and the late Rachel Loretta Messier Dolby. He served in the U.S. Army and was discharged June ll. Survivors include his father; his stepmother, Mary Doretha Edinger Dolby; and several aunts and uncles. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence William Dolby. Burial was scheduled at Grahamville Cemetery in North East. Mrs. Josephine Kovach Mrs. Josephine V. Kovach, 68, of Grove City RD 3, Irwin Township, died suddenly early this morning in her home. She was born July 25, 1913 in Pittsburgh a daughter of Jacenty and Karolina Stasiowska Stryczula. She as married to Robert V. Kovach Oct. 3, 1934, and they have lived in Irwin Township since 1953. He survives along with two sons, Robert of Newark, Ohio, and Richard of Brookfield, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Beverly) Pratta of Penns Grove, N.J; one brother, Carlo Strycula, and two sisters, Mrs. Stella Androsy and Mrs. Wanda Weber, all of New Kensington, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services w ill be conducted at ll a.m. Monday in the Harold C. Jamison Funeral Home, Harrisville. The family will receive friends there from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. on July 17, 1982.2

He filmed the Coffeehouse performances for the Elkcreek Historical Society, was an Old Timer of the Albion Fire Department, belonged to the Albion American Legion, and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He is survived by his sisters, Avis McClintock (Stanley) and Gloria Roumfort (Ronald), a niece, Ethelia Duguay, nephews Harve and Sean McCabe, a great nephew, Mark Baughman, and several other great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a niece, Sandra Baughman. Friends may call at the Steff-Mattera Funeral Home, 188 East State Street, Albion, on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of a funeral service there at 3 p.m. with Rev. Larry Reitz officiating. Burial will follow in Albion Cemetery. on September 2, 2009.4
