She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Zerfoss in 1975; a brother, Herbert Reed, and two sisters, Marie Stamm and Norma Holbein. Funeral services were held Monday at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, Lewisville, with Rev. Susan Porch Lantz officiating. Interment was in Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville. on March 17, 2006.⁴

Mr. Reed is survived by two sons, Gary Lee Reed and his wife Janet of Renfrew, and Harold Dennis Reed and his wife DeDe of Butler; two granddaughters; two grandsons; five great grandchildren; and several of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn June (McKinnis) Reed whom he married on December 14, 1946 and who passed away one May 18, 2014; one brother, and three sisters. Officers and members of the American Legion Post #778 Lyndora and the VFW Post 249 Butler will conduct military honors at the graveside. Burial in the Greenlawn Burial Estates. on August 15, 2015.³

She loved to camp and watch NASCAR racing. Mrs. Reed is survived by her husband, Harold V. Reed, who she married on Dec. 14, 1946; her two sons, Gary L. Reed and his wife, Janet, of Renfrew and Denny Reed and his wife, DeDe, of Butler; her four grandchildren; her five great-grandchildren; her four sisters, Faye King of Saxonburg, EdnaMae Knauer of Prospect, Bonnie Bolten and her husband, Crawford, of Renfrew, and Sandy Henricks and her husband, Robert, of Slippery Rock, and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and three sisters. Reed - The friends of June (McKinnis) Reed, who passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. James E. Boos of the Prospect and Mt. Nebo Presbyterian churches officiating. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Burial Estates. on May 19, 2014.²
