Born July 19, 1934 at Elizabeth, she was the daughter of the late Bernard C. & Anna Lee Conner. Josephine was a graduate of Spanishburg High School and West Virginia Business College in Bluefield. She retired from the Mercer County Board of Education with over 20 years of service as a Teacher's Aide. She was a lifetime member of the Kegley United Methodist Church for more than 60 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Vinie E. Wiley and an infant daughter. While her health permitted, she enjoyed her flowers, working in her garden and reading her Bible. Those left to cherish her memory, two sons and their spouses: Michael A. & Kathy Chiquita Wiley of Union, Pancho E. & Belinda Sue Wiley of Kegley. Four grandchildren: Brandais Yarid & husband Andrew, Michael Wiley Jr. & wife Emily, Kris Wiley & wife Deanna, and Glen Wiley. Two great grandchildren: Rebecca & Matthew. Three step-daughters: Alice, Linda & Juanita. And a blessing of her extended family and friend, Gladys Richmond. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 19, 2016 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor C.T. Lilly III officiating. Services were Monday in Princeton. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery. on May 9, 1985.³ He died on May 9, 1985 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 80.³
