She has rejoined her beloved husband, Wilbur Guenzel; son, Billy Guenzel; grandchild, Gloria Guenzel; two brothers, and one sister, all of whom preceded her in death. Mrs. Guenzel was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. She was the dedicated mother of four boys and adored 'Nana' to her grandchildren, Jessica, Paul, Kayla, Kyra, and Andy, whom she loved dearly. Stella enjoyed water aerobic therapy. She will be missed by the many friends she made during her lifetime. She is survived by three sons, Gary Guenzel and wife, Barbara, of Bohemia, NY, David Guenzel of Wilmington, NC, and Alan Guenzel and wife, Sabrina, of Towaco, NJ; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and a sister, Garnett Deegan. A memorial service will be held at 11am Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Messiah Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Spelzhausen officiating. on April 13, 2008.3

She was born on September 1, 1929, the youngest daughter of Michael and Frances Hines in Jonesville, Va. She successfully sold AVON Products for 45 years winning many awards while making lifelong friends along the way. Mary faithfully served the Lord since 1960 and was a member of Harvest Baptist Church of Roanoke, Va. she was preceded in death by sisters, Beulah Poteet, Ninas Estep and Frankie Wainscott; and brothers, Dewey and LC Hines and early on by twins Elsa and Alma. She is survived by one daughter, Linda R. Hammed and husband, the Reverend Estil P. ( Butch ) Hammed; along with two special grandchildren, Stephen and wife, Cindy Hammed and Stephanie and husband, Phillip Honaker. She is also proudly survived by eight great grandchildren, Emily, Dylan, Jacob, Samuel, Caleb, Elizabeth, Luke and Benjamin; and special niece, Carolyn Jamison; special sister-in-law, Melba Hines; many loving nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Troy to Harvest Baptist Church P.O. Box 13391 Roanoke, VA 24033. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday October 14, 2014 at Oakey's North Chapel with the Rev. Butch Hammed her son-in-law officiating on October 12, 2014.4
