     Frances R. Salgado was buried at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3903 Ashley River Road, Charleston, Charleston Co., South Carolina.² She was born on July 24, 1930 at Miami, Dade Co., Florida.² As of 1951,her married name was McCartney.¹ She married John William "Bill" McCartney, son of Harry William McCartney Jr. and Elsie Gwendoline/Gwendolyn Sales, in 1951 at Dade Co., Florida.¹ Frances R. Salgado died on May 10, 2019 at Charleston, Charleston Co., South Carolina, at age 88.² She CHARLESTON - John W (Bill) McCartney and Frances R McCartney John W. ( Bill ) McCartney LCDR USN (Ret.) of Charleston SC entered into eternal rest on May 5, 2019. He was married to the love of his life Frances R. McCartney who entered into eternal rest on May 10, 2019. They were married for 67 years. Bill was born June 8, 1930 in Bradenton, Florida and Frances was born July 24, 1930 in Miami, Florida. Bill proudly served his country for 25 years in the United States Navy. We was a Vietnam Veteran and was awarded the Bronze Star. After retiring from the Navy, he was the Public Safety Chief at the College of Charleston before moving to a long career at Monarch Building Supply. He was an honorary member of the South Carolina Sheriff's Association and a member of the Elks Lodge. He was an avid golfer and a member of The Santee Super Seniors Golf Club. Frances was a loving ,caring wife and mother. She loved music and dancing and had a wonderful sense of humor. She worked for many years at Sears and then Joli Maternity wear helping expectant mothers with their wardrobe. She was also a Red Cross volunteer for a period of time. They are survived by three children all of Charleston. Rosanne Burke (Wes), Bill McCartney (Tina), and Mary McCartney. Eight Grandchildren and Sixteen Great-Grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held Saturday May 18, 2019 at Seacoast Church 2049 Savannah Hwy Charleston SC 29407. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to noon with a memorial service immediately following. Interment will be at Live Oak Memorial Gardens at 3093 Ashley River Rd. Charleston SC 29414 at 3:00 pm. on May 15, 2019.²

Krieger, 67, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Decatur, died 6:35 p.m. Friday (Aug. 25, 1989) in James A. Haley Hospital, Tampa. Services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church, Palm River, Fla. Holloway Funeral Home, Oldsmar, Fla., is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Stonington Cemetery, Stonington. Mr. Krieger was born in Stonington, son of Allen T. and Edna Howe Krieger. He was a retired A.E. Staley Mfg. Co. employee, a member of the First Baptist Church in Palm River and an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his son, Robert L. of Decatur; daughters, Sandy Smith of Colorado Springs, Colo; Janice Krieger of Bowie, Md; sisters, Naomi Dunham of Decatur, Ga; Thelma Jinks of Bement; three grandchildren. on August 29, 1989.⁴

     Heloise Marie Shelton was born on July 24, 1914 at Ohio.³ As of March 8, 1950,her married name was Jarrett.² She married Dr. Thomas Ellsworth "Tom" Jarrett, son of Jerome B. Jarrett and Edna V. Ellsworth, on March 8, 1950 at Montgomery Co., Ohio.^1,2

     James Edward Morgan was buried at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron, Summit Co., Ohio.⁴ His Social Security Number was 235-03-7431.⁷ He married Ruth Unknown.⁸ James Edward Morgan married Helen Unknown.⁴ James Edward Morgan was born on May 24, 1914 at Spencer, Roane Co., West Virginia.^7,3,4 He died on February 16, 1983 at Barberton, Summit Co., Ohio, at age 68.^2,4 He James E. Morgan, 68, of 1213 W. Wilbeth Rd., Akron, passed away Wednesday a.m. Mr. Morgan was born in Spencer, W. Va., and was an area resident for 60 years. He was a retired truck driver and had worked with the Ruhlin Construction Company. He is survived by wife, Helen; daughter, Mrs. Patty Fisher of Charleston, W. Va., son, James of Akron; brother, Howard of Detroit, Mich; and four stepbrothers. Funeral services will be from the Prentice Funeral Home, 1 1 54 Kenmore Blvd., Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Paul D. Outland officiating. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park. on February 18, 1983.⁴
