     Danny Lee Quesinberry Danny Lee Quesinberry, 57, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023 at his home. Born July 27, 1966 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of Sandra Sue Sutterland Quesinberry and the late Gary Wayne Quesinberry, Sr. Danny was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a truck driver. In addition to his father, Danny was preceded in death by two brothers, Hobert Lee Quesinberry and David Wayne Quesinberry. Those left to cherish Danny’s memory are his mother, Sandra Sue Sutterland Quesinberry of Fieldale, VA; daughters, Stephanie Knuckles of Huntington, WV, and Samantha Witt of Bedford, VA; brothers, Tony Quesinberry of Princeton, WV, and Gary Quesinberry, Jr. of Pocahontas, VA; and sister, Christina Gibson of Bluefield, WV.² He was born on July 27, 1966 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia.² He died on December 21, 2023 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 57.²

Born on March 13, 1974 in Bluefield, he was a son of Sandra Sutherland Quesinberry Sexton of Princeton and the late Gary Wayne Quesinberry. He had been a resident of Princeton for 20 years and formerly worked for Sylvania Lighting. Survivors include: Mother: Sandra Sutherland Quesinberry Sexton of Princeton. Son: Brandon Quesinberry of Martinsville, VA. Daughter: Amber Quesinberry of Martinsville, VA. Brothers: Tony Quesinberry of Princeton, David Quesinberry of Princeton, Danny Quesinberry of Princeton, Gary Quesinberry, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC. Born Feb. 23, 1929, in Pike County to James and Nora Schoolcraft Schockey, she is survived by two sons, Buddie Conley, Westerville, and Barry Conley, Royal Oak, Mich; three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Edith) Steele, Tipp City, Mrs. Kenneth (Bonnie) Smith, Mt. Clemens, Mich., and Mrs. Brenda Dearth, Chillicothe; three grandchildren, and one brother, James Schockey, Ferndale. She was predeceased by her parents and a son. Burial will be in Pennisten Cemetery, Pike County. on March 24, 1980.²

Brian Marshall Conley, 22, Route 10, was shot once in the back of the head by a with a high-powered rifle, according to Harold Stumbo, a Floyd County attorney. Charged with murder and lodged in the Floyd County jail is Don Gearheart, no age or address available. Stumbo said the shooting occurred after Gearheart and Conley had words. Conley slain in Kentucky was leaving a service station in a pick-up Sunday at the Boyer Funeral Home, truck when Gearheart allegedly shot him. Waverly. Conley, Chillicothe; his mother, Mrs. Joan Edwards, Royal Oak, Mich; two brothers, Buddie, Westerville, and Barry, Columbus; and two sisters, Mrs. Brenda Dearth, Columbus, and Miss Bonnie Conley, Royal Oak, Mich. on July 22, 1977.⁴
