Dickey died on May 22, 2007 at Yates Center, Woodson Co., Kansas, at age 91.5,3,1,4 She Opal J. Collins, 91, Yates Center, Kansas, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at Yates Center. She was born Oct. 28, 1915, in Niotaze, Kansas, to Henry Frank and Cordie Wilson-Dickey. She married Vern Brown in February 1936. They later divorced. She married David L. Collins on Nov. 5, 1960, in Independence, Kansas. He survives. She worked many years in ladies apparel, sold real estate and managed a motel for 12 years. Survivors include a son, Terry Brown, Independence, KS; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Interment will be May 25, 2007, at Jefferson Cemetery in Independence, Kansas under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home, Yates Center, KS. on May 24, 2007.1

     Larry Wade Dixon was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Arkansas.3,2 He Larry Wade Dixon, 48, of Cedarville died Friday, June 23, in a local nursing home. He was an avid golfer and loving husband, father and grandfather. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 26, in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Dixon will be cremated, with interment of ashes at Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Smith at a later date, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of the home; three daughters, Heather and her husband, David Polk, of Van Buren; Hannah Dixon of Van Buren; Stephanie Davies of Hot Springs; a son, Eric Dixon of Van Buren; his father, Larry E. Dixon of Van Buren; two sisters, Mary and her husband, Chris Bittle, of Azle, Texas, and Mischelle and her husband, Steve Merrywell, of Fort Smith; and four grandchildren.2 He married Nancy Unknown.2 Larry Wade Dixon was born on October 19, 1957.4,3 He died on June 23, 2006 at Sebastian Co., Arkansas, at age 48.2,3,4
