     Elma Elizabeth Walker Elma Elizabeth Allen, February 26, 1918 - March 11, 2017, 99, of Belle passed away March 11, 2017 at Rolling Meadows Place, Scott Depot, following a short illness. She was a retired sales clerk for the former Stone and Thomas Department Store, a member of the Belle Woman’s Club and loved quilting. Elma was a member of Judson Baptist Church, Belle, where she was a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class, American Baptist Women, the choir and also served as a Sunday School Teacher. Preceding her in death were her parents, Lloyd E. Sr. and Susie Teel Walker; son, Glenn Lee Allen; sisters, Eileen Graham and Margaret Wooldridge; and brothers, Lloyd E. Walker Jr., Jesse Lee Walker, Robert D. Walker and Raymond Walker. Surviving are her loving husband of 77 years, Robert H. ‘Bob’ Allen Sr; son and daughter-in-law, Robert H. Jr. and Lois Allen of Scott Depot; daughter, Rose Mary Heilmann of Huntington; brother and sister-in-law, John T. and Helen Walker of Beckley; sister, Sue Ann Ernst of Port Ludlow, Washington; grandchildren and their spouses, Stacey and Keith Slone, John D. and Blair Heilmann, Christopher S. and Tiana Allen, Susan and Greg Holsclaw and Nathan T. and Rachel Heilmann; and eleven great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Rolling Meadows Place for their love, compassion, and care. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 at Judson Baptist Church, Belle, with Pastor Charles Bolen officiating. Funeral services were held on Monday April 14, 2003, at 11:00 a.m., at Beard Mortuary, with Rev. Andrew J. Magnusson officiating, burial immediately followed in Woodmere Memorial Park. Charles was born May 29. 1940, in Ripley, WV, the son of the late James Bert Heilmann and Eunice Bell Heilmann. Also preceded in death by his infant son Charles E. Heilmann II, and a Brother-in-law Glenn L. Allen. He served in the US Air Force, was a 1962 Graduate of West Virginia University with a BS Degree in Business Administration, 1965 Graduate from West Virginia University Law School, a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity, a member of Baptist Temple, member of the Cabell County Bar Association, member of the West Virginia Bar Association, and an avid Hunter, Birdwatcher and Fisherman. He was a loving brother, husband, father, and grandfather, leaving behind many nieces and nephews, loving friends and family. He is survived by his loving wife Rose Mary Allen Heilmann, a daughter Susan L. Holsclaw and her husband Greg of Boulder, CO., two sons John D. Heilmann and his wife Erica D. Heilmann of Erie, PA., and Nathan Heilmann of Huntington, a brother James B. Heilmann II and his wife Brenda Heilmann of Ripley, WV., a sister Mary Jo McCoy and husband Joe McCoy of St. Petersburg, Fla., father and mother-in-law Robert and Elma Allen of Belle, WV., a brother-in-law Robert H. Allen Jr., and wife Lois of Scott Depot, WV., and a granddaughter Julia C. Heilmann.      Joy Lee McCormick was buried at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Colorado Springs, El Paso Co., Colorado.1 She was born on October 29, 1928 at Arista, Mercer Co., West Virginia.1 As of May 23, 2018,her married name was Allen.1 She married Joe Ray Allen, son of Archie Cleveland Allen and Esther Willis, on May 23, 2018 at Colorado.1 Joy Lee McCormick Joy Lee Allen, born Oct. 29, 1928, in Arista, W.Va., to Thomas and Alma McCormick, left to meet her Lord and Savior, and back into the arms of the love of her life, Joe Ray Allen on May 23, 2018. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Susette (Larry) Henry, Susanne (Bob) DeGennaro, Brian (Diana) Allen and Vincent (Tara) Allen. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. As a dedicated Air Force wife, Joy traveled the country with Ray and their children to multiple bases across the country for the first 21 years of their marriage. Along the way, they met many lifelong friends, with which Joy continued to have contact until her death. Joy lived in Security, Colo., from 1973 until 2005 when she moved to Pueblo West, Colo., to live with her son and his wife. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, with burial to follow, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. on May 27, 2018.1
